On a weird note, double the amount of players would've been great but we probably would've hit a wall with space there had that happened. It's like the clown college mirror, lose lose.

Sure Dan. Here is my deck list that I played with Morlocks:

Characters:
4x Electric Eve
4x Tommy

4x Tar Baby
3x Leech

3x Caliban
3x Healer (usally is The Kreeper in non Random Pumks events)

4x Hump
1x Storm

2x Marrow
2x Dark Beast

2x Scalface, Dragon Lady
1x Calisto

2x Hemmingway (Usally Ape in non random punks format)

Plot twists:
4x Last Stand
4x Sharpnel Blast
4x Bloodhound
3x Bum's Rush (usally Backs Against the Walls in non random punks format)
3x Mutant Massacre
3x Morlock Justice

Locations:
4x The Alley

So I played morlocks and first round was a complete surprise to see this "Clown College." To my disappointment I missed my 1 drops which is kinda a big deal because I get two characters out on turn 1 (tommy and electric eve) and they are fuel for a lot of cards in the deck. (sharpnel blast, last stand, mutant massacre, bum's rush, and burn effects with The Alley) Adtionally the oppenent would have had a harder time exhausting my guys. Plus, I didn't have odd initietive so my Dark Beast (5 drop) couldn't cancel out Omnipotence (cost 5) on turn 5 which he got rid of morlock justice, big hurt there since I couldn't make him lose reinforcment and burn him down. Also, he got rid of bloodhound my search. Otherwise it was a good game against Scott I believe his name was. I lost round one.

Second round I lost to avenger's reservist. I lost that round due to a misplay on my part of not using a sharpnel blast correctly otherwise the game would have been mine.

Third round I won. It was against my brother wish it wasn't so but it happens in tornaments. He played Squadron Supreme and he was missing drops all day even against me. He couldn't even get Nuke out all day felt bad for him because he quit playing Vs. for awile then got back into it so another disavantage against him was lack of knowledge of cards and lack of cards itself. I pretty much ran through him with my deck. Sorry Matt...

Fourth round I won was against sinister sydicate rush. Since most of the drops had 1 defense on most cards I was attacking with everone every turn which pretty much got rid of the oppenent's field plus I drew last stands and he couldn't get the pumps needed to ovecome them.

So I was 2-2. I had a blast guys like I said. Wished more guys turned up to see new faces and hopefully make new friends. :) Can't wait for the next one!

A dozen in NYC?

So for those of you who didn't attend this well planned in advance event, I ask why, and not to be nasty, really just to understand what happened is happening.

Is it time of year? Location? Transportation? Lack of disposable income? Lack of interest, cards, decks?

I live 3000 miles away, not a great excuse but its all I have.

It looks like it was great fun for those who made it, and I love the deck lists, I'm being inspired to build a few more treats for my friends.
I'm newish to the site so I didn't have as much advance notice. By problem would be money. While I live in NJ, it's still pretty expensive to get to NY. I could probably attend one in Philly. I'm really close to Philly.

Also to be honest, I may not play if MEV is legal. It really is a horrible set. (By horrible of course, I mean broken).

Congrats, dude! A friend of mine told me you won with Marauders. We Marauders have to hold it down and stick together lol.
Awesome, somebody actually played with Marauders, and won no less.
