As dual legend is in the lead, I'd like to know if anyone has tried building a deck for it yet.. It's seeming increasingly difficult to build a decent one..

Any luck with those ideas? Even in just building the decks on paper, it seems like the 2 legends have to have EXTREME synergy, and they still take up a lot of space.

Well you always have 4 drop mystique to be 4 copies of any character to get around the legend restriction.

Albert is wolverine but not wolverine when checking the legend limits(I think)

Cable helps break uniqueness with bodyslide.

Cyclops + doom = potential dual legend stall

Jean grey only needs 12 characters to break the 5 drop.

Batman and superman. Enough said.

Gambit was given some cool cards.

Mimic just seems fun as hell.

There's always the fantastic 4 and their suite of legend cards.

Most of the main characters from the Avengers and Justice League have legend support cards.

Just to throw some starting ideas around that I have.

I'm not the biggest fan of doing that format (i'd prefer bring your own single team or bring your own set) but i do have an idea for it. Honestly the main issue i've had isn't with the minimum of 12 each... its been with having a maximum of 12 each. Many of my ideas that i've scrapped have been because i couldn't get the legend card count down to 12 each exactly.

question for this:

say my legend was mr fantastic/invisible woman. one of the cards i might use is four freedoms plaza, which has both names on it. i know i cant use it for both, but can i use it to count towards mr fantastic's 12 count, and not have it affect invisible woman's 12 count?

Short answer, yes.

Theoretically, you could use the 3 drop MVL Invisible Woman as a Mr. Fantastic card. What you can't do is have her count towards both counts.

Every deck should have 24 cards devoted to your 2 legends, 12 a piece, and 36 cards to support them, but can't reference or be them..

It's definitely a challenge, but it is doable.

hmm. ok. so, according to this ruling, (using doom and mr fantastic as examples) you can use 3 drop dr. doom, reign of terror, and paralysis as the 12 for doom, 4 drop mr fantastic, strech out, and...idk...family of four as the 12 for mr. fantastic, and then still be able to run the moloids?

i think im asking alot of questions, but i just wanna clarify this.

Moloids say Dr. Doom and Mole Man on them so they either count towards one of those characters or they can't be played at all. Also from the first post:

For Super and Dual Legend, NO MORE THAN 4 of your "Legend" cards can be army. This is to prevent Moloids-type things, and so people won't pick an army character as their "Legend".
You better believe I was talking about a Mole Man/Doom Dual Legend with 8x Moloids + 4x Mole Man and 4x Moloids + 4x 3 drop Doom + 2x 4 drop Fantastic + 2x assorted Dr. Doom cards as my legend selection... So yeah I already ruined that one for everybody.

EDIT: I'm technically incorrect when I say you can't play Moloids at all. Basically you can play as many as you want as long as neither Dr. Doom nor Mole Man is one of your legends... Good luck with that one.

For the sake of Multiple Man, I'm going to revise the current army ruling.. See the first post for the revised ruling.
