BEFORE TIME

0.0 - EDEN -

There were times in the history books when Eden and Timur were truly the worst of foes. Wars were recorded between major tribes of the two continents, often with Eden being the perpetrator in the wars, being the young nation that wanted to prove itself to the old, 'antique' Timur. Technomagics and Ancient Magicks were put into battle, often resulting in damages that took years and decades to repair.

In the recent times, however, cultural advances have brought an age of peace, harmony and unity to Genos, although it's undeniable that there are factions who are not yet comfortable with the idea of working with a nemesis. Although the continents still run by themselves like the old times, intercontinental affairs are now taken care in peace by an organization that call themselves the Genean Alliance, co-run by leaders from tribes and factions throughout the world.

It also allows more recent generations to develop rapidly, through the unity of once-separated cultures from different continents. Naturally, however, many of the older generations and a handful of extremists from the continents are still furiously against the alliance, each believing that their original belief should not be replaced by 'a dirty, polluted mix of cultural farce from The Alliance'.

But that is simply for themselves to believe.

0.1 - EDEN -

The year now is 15 PV (Post Venture) — 15 years after the official recognition of the Genean Alliance by the three nations.

While it can be said that the three nations are enjoying an era of peace that they have never seen in the last few hundred years, tension between Timur and Eden is lately gradually rising as rumors of rebel groups and anti-alliance factions steadily spreads throughout the two nations. Despite the rising tension, however, Eden, like almost the rest of the world, is currently busier in rebuilding itself after the last war before the Alliance. It would certainly take a while until Eden and Timur returns to war again—even after their possibly short-lived ceasefire.
