Rumors have circulated that James Storm was seen at NXT tapings recently. Please no, every time I see James Storm I feel like my IQ drops 50 points. The worst thing it he's probably going to do some shows because Florida loves James Storm. If you ask me, WWE is talking with the wrong Storm to be wrestling in NXT as this is the Storm I'm thinking of:

I think it was just because they'd been chanting for Tyler, and he eliminated him. Didn't see anything in to it other than that. Meanwhile, John Cena 3.0 wins the Battle Royal instead. Eurgh. |

Asuka/Kana... she's as good as it gets. In Japan, she has been the #1 female wrestler the past 5+ years. You should have seen her in the late 00's, man she looked like she was working super stiff. As she's gotten older, she settled in and found the groove she's in now. I remember 4 years ago when I found out about her. I was looking up who the current generation of women wrestlers were in Japan because I knew the girls like Manami Toyota were getting old. I look at the wikipedia page and this is the picture I see: Spoiler: click to toggle I think to myself, "this girl is one of the top joshi's in Japan? No way, this cute girl couldn't hurt a fly. I mean, she looks like she's trying to act tough, but she can't be." Then you see things like this and you realize she's nothing you expect her to be.

Becky Lynch was recently interviewed on The Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast and was asked who the best wrestler in the world is. This was what Lynch had to say: ''Personally, I consider [Finn Balor] to be the best wrestler in the world. He is also one of my dearest friends as well, so it's just awesome to have him around, just to have another person to bounce [ideas] off of. I'm so happy for him and being the NXT Champ and where he's going to go is just to the moon and back. Being able to be in such close proximity to see everything that he's about to do and everything that he [has] already done because the Bullet Club was all his invention, and that's so cool. So what he's going to do here [in WWE] is going to be phenomenal.'' |
