I can only imagine how much money Asuka is going to make with her independent bookings after her NXT career is over. I just don't see her ever going to WWE after NXT, she's not going to accept 5 minute matches for any amount of money. |

I went to NXT Asbury Park last night and it was so much fun. Got to see some of the wrestlers up close after the show in the parking lot. Simon Gotch, Carmella, Bayley, Enzo Amore, Apollo Crews, and even Eva Marie came out to us fans to take pics and sign autographs. I even got a high-five from Enzo which was pretty damn awesome! So much fun at the show and the crowd was so much better than any WWE live event I've been to that isn't on a ppv. |

We can tell her all we want, but she has to come to figure it out on her own. Thing is Eva doesn't strike me as a very intelligent person, so she may never know.  All jokes aside, the one thing I have to say about Eva Marie that I love is how well she fits into the heel role. She has so much heat with the fans that the fire marshal at Full Sail probably has to warn fans not to get to worked up or they'll spontaneously combust. I'm just glad that Eva actually has a place in NXT because she appears to want to be more than just a pretty face. I see her work and the effort she puts in and I don't see her going through the motions; I think she's honestly trying to get better as a wrestler, but she's just not capable of being a good wrestler. Eva Marie is like that fat guy at the gym who works his ass off and diets, but just can't lose weight. A part of me feels bad for her, another part of me respects her for trying... AND THEN there's another part of me that hates her for being given all this attention in NXT when there are more talented women out there that would kill to be given the time Eva gets. I actually started a "You Can't Wrestle" chant in the beginning of her match with Bayley and the crowd got completely behind that chant. During the match she kept raising her arms out like she's the best trying to get that heat from the crowd. There was even a "Shut the Fuck Up" chant for the "Drifter" Elias Sampson who was trying to sing and play guitar for the crowd. |
