Spoiler: click to toggle And as soon as he goes past Neville, he looses the belt 3 days later. First it was Rollins, then Big E who beat his reign, then it was Neville, now it's Balor. Maybe Joe will hold onto the belt for 300 days to beat Balor's reign? I'm not a fan of this booking if you couldn't tell. Record long title reigns should be reserved for something special and Joe should have beat Balor at Takeover. However, I do like the idea of titles changing at NXT Live shows because it makes the shows feel like something special could happen. I mean, you can't do them all the time, but have big matches that mean something at these live shows, like #1 contender's matches. |

It's a combination of having something big happen at NXT house shows to draw more people for moments like these and to protect Balor. Hearing that Balor lost instead of seeing it... it doesn't lower his stock as much because seeing is believing. As for the Demon gimmick... I really don't know. Personally, the Demon Balor thing is kind of lost on me until I really see that the Demon in Balor is this force that Balor can't control and makes him do Monster Kane circa 2003 type stuff, like electrocuting testicles and raping Lita. I see Balor with the paint on and I feel no difference between that Balor and leather jacket Balor because I haven't been shown anything to believe there is a difference, unless balor and HHH came up with the idea to have different movesets for the two. In fact, the only wrestler I've seen to ever pull two characters off and have two different moveset's and almost entirely different ring styles is a woman in Japan called Lin Byron. As Byron, she's like this martial artist with some high flying moves, then as Ray, a masked female luchador, she's jumping all over, doing flips and shit. You wouldn't even know it was the same woman as both wrestlers. back to Balor... what I want to see with The Demon is for Hideo Itami to come back and blame The Demon for injuring him and costing him the title match in Japan. That would give both a good feud, make the Demon part of Balor seem legit evil, and give Itami a storyline to work with upon his return. Sadly, Idk if Itami will ever be back. |

I was completely fine with this. IDK, but Erick Young showing up, basically saying we know each other from another place, and doing the match as the main event was great. This was probably the strongest main event for a non Takeover NXT show I've seen all year. I thought the match was fantastic and it's a great debut for Eric Young, who will be given the Superjobber role in NXT that Chris Jericho had going for a while in WWE. |

EY's debut and involvement in NXT doesn't interest me at all. Aries with red in his trunks, heel turn confirmed! Aries had the best match I've seen from him thus far. He was allowed to showcase a lot of his moves and he sold like a champ for Dillinger. I am a big fan of the Revival. I am equally not a fan of Hype Bros. Please get rid of Mojo Rawley |

Got to see NWJ for the first time. He is garbage. The crowd will save him for only a few more weeks until they realize how crappy he is. The chants the crowd had were funny though (No Way Jose sang like Ole, Si se puede). Austin Aries is definitely turning heel. |

Looks like Elias Samson has already had any push planned "drift away"... No way Jose won't be far I feel My guess is Aries is going to feud with Nakamura. I haven't read spoilers though, so that's just guessing |

Don't be sorry. Any guesses as to who Austin Aries' partner will be? Not likely to be Bobby Roode, don't think they'd waste his debut this way. Might be EY.

Roode wasn't at the taping a for this so it won't be home. Whoever it is, I'm pretty confident hey will lose and Aries will turn heel on them and attack them. This means it is a face. I don't want EY bc it makes the NXTNA connection more apparent. Nakamura is the most fitting opponent for Aries and Aries is the most worthy opponent for Nakamura given his status. This is a tough one. Ultimately, as long as it is not NWJ, I should be ok w it Final guess: Nakamura |
