![]() NXT Preview: October 25, 2017 The coveted final spot in TakeOver: Houston’s Fatal 4-Way NXT Women’s Title Match is on the line as 16 talented Superstars will compete in a massive over-the-top-rope Battle Royal. Huge Battle Royal to determine final NXT Women’s Title Fatal 4-Way participant. With the vacant NXT Women’s Championship on the line at TakeOver: Houston, four Superstars will have the opportunity to battle for the coveted prize. Most recently, Asuka held the title for record 523 days, before finally relinquishing the highly sought-after crown. Inaugural Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane, Peyton Royce and Ember Moon are three of the four competitors in the contest, with the final spot to be determined tonight on NXT in a huge over-the-top-rope Battle Royal. General Manager William Regal made the announcement last week, much to the dismay of Billie Kay, who thought she was going to be handed the final spot in the title contest. Instead, Kay will be joined by 15 other supremely talented competitors from around the world in the massive bout, including many women who battled in the first-ever Mae Young Classic just last month. NXT’s Femme Fatale will fight alongside the following Superstars: Rhea Ripley Candice LeRae Taynara Conti Lacey Evans Sarah Logan Dakota Kai Bianca Belair Sage Beckett Zeda Mercedes Martinez Abbey Laith Vanessa Borne Santana Garrett Aliyah Reina González Who will join Sane, Royce and Moon at TakeOver in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 18? See who prevails in this monumental over-the-top-rope Battle Royal tonight at 8/7 C on the award-winning WWE Network. Roderick Strong and Andrade “Cien” Almas to battle in epic showdown. Roderick Strong and Andrade “Cien” Almas are two men with plenty of drama surrounding them. Strong has been curiously approached on two different occasions by The Undisputed ERA, first after losing a mighty battle against NXT Champion Drew McIntyre three weeks ago, then again last week when security footage caught Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly handing Strong a shirt that he promptly handed back to them. Could the NXT Universe see the talented trio show up again tonight? Are they scouting Strong for a spot in their group? Strong’s performance tonight against Almas could go a long way in deciding The Undisputed ERA’s next move with The Messiah of the Backbreaker. Almas, meanwhile, has found himself in talks for a NXT Title opportunity of his own after his business manager, Zelina Vega, interrupted McIntyre’s interview last week, demanding a title match for her client. As a result, the stakes are high for Almas as an impressive performance against Strong could make his case for an NXT Title opportunity. All the fireworks surrounding these two Superstars is one thing, but don’t forget these are also two of the most talented competitors in the world. No matter how tonight’s contest affects Strong and Almas’ future, one thing is for sure,: the NXT Universe is in store for an must-see showdown. Don’t miss Roderick Strong vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas, tonight at 8/7 C on NXT. |

![]() NXT Preview: November 15, 2017 On the final WWE NXT before TakeOver: WarGames, NXT Champion Drew McIntyre finally gets his chance to stare challenger Andrade “Cien” Almas in the eye. Plus, The Street Profits settle the score with Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss, Ember Moon battles Mercedes Martinez for the first time ever and much more. Drew McIntyre, Andrade “Cien” Almas get set to meet face-to-face. Just days before they lock up at TakeOver: WarGames, NXT Champion Drew McIntyre and upstart challenger Andrade “Cien” Almas will meet for a face-to-face tonight on WWE NXT. Almas was granted the title match after he strung together a series of big wins, but even prior to that, when Almas & Zelina Vega first made their championship ambitions known, McIntyre had just one, simple request: For Almas to challenge him face-to-face, “like a man.” Instead, “Cien” and Vega staged an ambush on Nov. 1, the night of their contract signing, with Almas laying out the Scottish brute with an attack from behind. Vega claims nobody in NXT can touch the “new” Andrade Almas, and we’ll find out for sure this Saturday when he goes up against McIntyre. However, after all the trash-talk that Vega & Almas dished McIntyre’s way, one can only wonder if the TakeOver fireworks won’t start a little early. Will Ember Moon make Mercedes Martinez eat her words? Ember Moon’s quest to become NXT Women’s Champion has had its share of false starts, but she hopes to reverse her fortunes and finally claim the vacant title in this Saturday’s Fatal 4-Way Match against Kairi Sane, Nikki Cross and Peyton Royce. However, before NXT’s War Goddess can steady her focus on making history in Houston, she must first deal with decorated ring veteran Mercedes Martinez tonight on NXT. The match stems from comments Martinez made about Moon three weeks ago in which The Latina Sensation claimed Moon was incapable of winning “the big match.” Will Moon prove the battle-tested ring warrior wrong, or will Martinez deal Moon a critical loss just days before the biggest match of her life? Don’t miss this first-time-ever matchup when it streams tonight at 8/7 C, exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network. The games between Street Profits and Sabbatelli & Moss come to an end. The Street Profits bring the swag like nobody can, but Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss like to think they come pretty close. Always happy to brag about their expensive sports cars and tailor-made wardrobes, Sabbatelli & Moss live the good life, and they want everyone to know it. Considering this, Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins might be forgiven for having a little fun at Sabbatelli & Moss’ expense in recent weeks — for example, Ford intercepting Sabbatelli’s $5,000 suit when it was returned from drycleaners and pretending it was his. Though the NXT Universe has warmly embraced the Profits’ playful antics, the same cannot be said for Sabbatelli & Moss. After the teams’ latest run-in, it was agreed that the only way to settle their differences is inside the ring, laying the foundation for tonight's big tag team showdown. Which fast-rising tandem will come out on top? Find out tonight when WWE NXT streams on WWE Network, just three days before all eyes turn to NXT TakeOver: WarGames. |

![]() NXT Results: December 13, 2017 Aleister Black not only remains unbeaten inside the yellow ropes, but the black-metal mutilator now moves closer to NXT Title contention after topping Undisputed ERA’s Adam Cole in a pivotal Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender Qualifying Match. Andrade "Cien" Almas def. Fabian Aichner. ORLANDO, Fla. — Fabian Aichner was aware of the magnitude of the opportunity to face NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas, even if only in non-title competition, and went full bore at El Idolo. The Italian-born Superstar hit Almas with a breathtaking, no-hands springboard plancha to the floor, followed up with a springboard tornado DDT and brutalized the champion with a powerbomb for a two-count. Aichner couldn’t sustain his red-hot start, however, as Almas’ business manager, Zelina Vega, provided a costly distraction. That gave Almas his chance to pounce, and after running Aichner into the steel ring steps, Almas drilled him with the devastating Hammerlock DDT for the win. Vega commandeered the announce desk following her client’s victory and boldly stated that no matter who wins the right to face Almas at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, El Idolo will not be stopped. Ember Moon def. Peyton Royce. It might not have been Peyton Royce that Ember Moon pinned to win the NXT Women’s Title Fatal 4-Way at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, but the new champion proved she’s capable of beating Royce nonetheless. Despite interference by Billie Kay at ringside, Moon defeated Royce in a hard-fought match, using her stunning Eclipse to polish off the Australian Superstar Moon didn’t have much of a chance to celebrate, as Kay rushed the champion and unleashed the Shades of Kay big boot to take NXT’s War Goddess off her feet. She and Royce then double-teamed Moon until Nikki Cross emerged to even the odds. After clearing The Iconic Duo from the ring, the unhinged SAnitY member set her crazed gaze upon Moon’s NXT Women’s Title, perhaps revealing the true motivation for her unexpected assist. The Authors of Pain def. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch. The bruising Brit-Am alliance of Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch got their fair share of licks in against former NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain, rocking Akam & Rezar with open-hand strikes and uppercuts, much to the delight, if not the disbelief, of the NXT Universe. Such contusion-causing hits would bring any ordinary Superstar to his knees, but Paul Ellering’s monstrous charges are anything but ordinary. Akam & Rezar withstood the onslaught and managed to suddenly turn the tables, crashing their opponents together like cymbals with the Super Collider and then finishing the job with the Last Chapter to claim victory. Aleister Black def. Adam Cole (No. 1 Contender’s Tournament Match). Per NXT General Manager William Regal, Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish were barred from ringside, and Adam Cole had to go it alone in this high-stakes Qualifying Match against the undefeated Aleister Black. The cocky Undisputed ERA frontman appeared no less confident for it, arrogantly tussling Black’s hair when he got the better of an early exchange of holds. The Dutch destroyer made Cole pay, crashing down on him with a quebrada and uncorking a Black Mass spin kick, only for Cole to narrowly escape the knockout blow. “The Panama City Playboy” fought back, dropping Black neck-first onto his knee. Yet, when Cole tried to superkick a kneeling Black, the black-metal mutilator blocked the attack and answered with a knee to the face. Dazed but still defiant, Cole wearily let out one last taunt at Black, but all the trash talk in the world couldn’t help him, as Black suddenly turned out his lights with Black Mass. Aleister Black’s win-loss record inside the yellow ropes remains unblemished, and with his big win over Cole, he now advances to the No. 1 Contender Fatal 4-Way Match, joining Johnny Gargano, Killian Dain and the winner of next week’s match between Roderick Strong and Lars Sullivan. |

![]() NXT Preview: December 27, 2017 Lars Sullivan, Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black and Killian Dain will clash in a high-stakes No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match to see who will challenge Andrade “Cien” Almas for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: Philadelphia. Fatal 4-Way to determine NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas’ opponent. The challenger to NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia will be determined tonight when four of the black-and-yellow brand’s toughest Superstars do battle in a No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match, exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network. Killian Dain, Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black and Lars Sullivan all won Qualifying Matches to earn their berths into the four-way contest. The Beast of Belfast upended Trent Seven and Johnny Wrestling topped Kassius Ohno on the Dec. 6 edition of NXT, the Dutch destroyer overcame Undisputed ERA’s Adam Cole on the Dec. 13 episode, and Lars Sullivan upended Roderick Strong on the Dec. 20 episode. Now all four Superstars will do battle in a Fatal 4-Way Match to see who will challenge for the NXT Title. Will it be Gargano’s Cinderella story, Sullivan’s path of destruction, Black’s undefeated dominance or Dain’s beastly combination of power and agility that will meet Andrade “Cien” Almas at TakeOver: Philadelphia? Don’t miss Killian Dain vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Aleister Black vs. Lars Sullivan in a No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match on WWE NXT tonight, at 8/7 C to see which Superstar punches his ticket to TakeOver: Philadelphia. Can Sonya Deville seize the NXT Women’s Title from Ember Moon? Sonya Deville isn’t done with NXT yet. The Raw Superstar has made her presence felt on Monday nights alongside Paige and Mandy Rose, but the submission specialist has some unfinished business with Ember Moon and the NXT Women’s Championship. Last week in a combative interview with reporters, Deville voiced her displeasure with the fact that NXT’s War Goddess is holding the NXT Women’s Title. The New Jersey native’s frustration comes from the fact that she was never pinned by Moon during their NXT Women’s Title Triple Threat Qualifying Match. As a result, Deville will get a chance to win Moon’s coveted title on tonight’s episode of NXT. Will Deville win the NXT Women’s Title from Moon and take the coveted prize with her to Raw? Or, will the champion give her fierce challenger an up-close view of her Eclipse before sending Deville back to Team Red? Don’t miss NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon vs. Sonya Deville tonight at 8/7 C on the award-winning WWE Network. |
