I agree with Jedi on Sable. She was hugely over back in the late 90s, so much so that Playboy featured her in their publication which led to more WWE women being in the magazine. Had Sable not existed, we may never have gotten to see Torrie Wilson's tits. It's possible with all the MMA girls not committing to doing a match at SummerSlam that Sable may show up for an appearance at SS to beat the shit out of Stephanie. A guy I don't believe will go in next year, but I think should is Hardcore Holly. I look at Bob Holly's career in WWE and he starts off as a complete jobber with the most sterotypical gimmick Vince could come up with in that of a race car driver, the Attitude Era comes and he morphs in Hardcore Holly, a no nonsense tough guy, does the tag team thing with Crash which was met with positive reception, is a trainer for Tough Enough, has the title feud with Brock Lensar back when Brock was unstoppable and Holly actually looked like he had a chance to beat Lesnar, and then becomes the veteran they put with Cody Rhodes to mentor him. Bob Holly could be put in any position, from jobber to main event, and he did it well. IRS I'd like to see go into the HOF. Had a good career that spanned the early 80s, through the boom of the late 80s, through the bust of the early 90s, and right up to the end of WCW. Yeah, mostly remembered for the gimmick, but he played the gimmick like a champ and had a great tag team with MDM Ted DiBiase. He should go into the HOF just so we can see Bray and Bo on stage together to induct him. |
