I dunno, I'm not sure why Roman would want to go after AJ Styles and the WWE Title when he could just as easily go for the Universal Title after he wins the Rumble. Spoiler: click to toggle But at this exact point I don't really see many storylines in it as to why someone would. That's not to say I would be against it if they did it, even if it was just for the sake of doing it. The one I can think of that makes sense would be Cesaro so he can go over to Smackdown, like he originally wanted. But that would mean Cesaro has to win the Royal Rumble and lolfucku |

Yeah, I could see it this year. Back when the Rumble was in Pittsburgh, it was more of a hope than a possibility. Being that WWE is always 2+ years behind what everyone wants, that's why I think it's strongly possible it will happen. Only problem is they'll be spending mega money on the Rumble already with Lesnar and Goldberg. Plus, Vince is always susceptible to a last minute conniption fit. |

Wow, it's only a few weeks away and I totally don't give a shit about the Rumble match. It's like those two years we were all certain Bryan would win them, only he didn't and it pissed us all off. Then last year we got the ho-hum HHH win, which we all expected because he had to main event another Mania. I really don't care who wins this Rumble, there's nobody I really give a shit about. Okay, I like Goldberg's current run, but I can't in any conscience say that Goldberg should be winning a Royal Rumble in the year 2017. Besides, he's bound for a match with Brock at Mania. The couple guys I would be down for seeing win the Rumble would be: Undertaker, for his last Wrestlemania run. Samoa Joe, to make a huge impact debut winning the Rumble. CM Punk so he can finally get the Mania main event and STFU. There's no guarantee that Joe will be in this Rumble, but there's no reason for him to stay in NXT any longer. CM Punk isn't coming back, and even if he did, Kane would drag him over the top rope again. But, forgetting about who wins, if there's one thing I'd love to see happen it's Undertaker enters the Rumble at #29, he hits the ring, clears it down to him, Joe, and Zayn, and then Danial Bryan's music hits and it comes down to him eliminating Undertaker, who then is enraged and goes back into the ring to throw Bryan out, but Joe beats him to it leaving Joe as the winner. Joe goes on to face AJ Styles for the WWE Title, while Taker and Bryan start a feud, but Cena intervenes on his Brother in Law's behalf saying Bryan isn't fit to compete anymore with his injuries and Cena takes Bryan's place in the match with Taker at Mania while Bryan is the special guest referee. Bryan does a fast count while Cena pins Undertaker, which pisses Taker off more. Cena turns heel in the process saying he made Bryan do the fast count or he would leave Smackdown and go to Raw. So, Cena uses his star power to force Bryan to give him title matches against Samoa Joe, who believes that Bryan isn't truly innocent and he's being biased against him because he was the one that eliminated Bryan from the Rumble. Cena eventually wins and goes on a reign of terror on Smackdown the rest of the year making Bryan give him preferential treatment so he can win his title matches against guys like Styles, Joe, Baron Corbin, and Dean Ambrose. Then the next year at Mania, Bryan and Taker have both Bryan and Taker's final match with HBK as the special guest referee. Bryan wins clean, Undertaker realizes his time is up, and HBK watches as the student does what the master never could and all three walk up the stage together in the true End of an Era match. In my opinion, there hasn't been a satisfying Rumble winner since Edge won it in fucking 2010. We're going on close to a god damn decade of them going with the wrong guy to win this thing, which is just un-fucking-believable. The Rumble has seriously gone from one of my most anticipated events of the year, to one of my most dreaded, to the point now where I genuinely feel absolutely no reason to get excited for it at all anymore, because of course the least desirable fucking outcome is precisely what we're gonna get in this ridiculous day and age of WWE vs. the people.

At least I have no idea who will win this year. It's felt pretty obvious the last few years. Regardless, we are all likely to be left dissapointed like we usually do. 2 things I want bad 1. Tye Dillinger at the #10 spot 2. Joe at #30 |
