 205 Live Preview: August 15, 2017 Tonight on WWE 205 Live, Titus Worldwide presents the championship celebration for new WWE Cruiserweight Champion Akira Tozawa, who scored a shocking victory against Neville on Raw. How will Neville respond to Akira Tozawa's championship celebration? Thanks to the negotiating of Titus O'Neil - on behalf of Titus Worldwide – with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match between Neville and Akira Tozawa scheduled for SummerSlam instead took place last night on Raw. In a shocking upset, Tozawa dethroned The King of the Cruiserweights to claim the championship. Tonight, Titus Worldwide presents Tozawa's championship celebration on WWE 205 Live. While The Stamina Monster – and O'Neil – will no doubt bask in the glory of ending Neville's long and dominant reign, the former champion has already made it clear he will not go down silently. Immediately invoking his rematch clause, Neville will attempt to reclaim the title at SummerSlam. Furthermore, Neville will almost certainly not take kindly to any celebration at his expense and will try to use the party to send a message to the new champion before The Biggest Event of the Summer. Will Neville set the stage to reclaim his glory, or is the era of Tozawa here to stay? Is the rivalry between Rich Swann and TJP no longer friendly? Last week on WWE 205 Live, Rich Swann and TJP engaged in a highly competitive one-on-one contest, with The Duke of Dab emerging victorious. Despite claiming a tag team win and defeating the same opponent faster than Swann, TJP earning a singles victory over Swann perhaps finally evened the odds, as Swann won a singles contest in July. Despite the seemingly friendly nature of their rivalry that dates to the Cruiserweight Classic, TJP's excessive celebrating following his victory last week didn’t sit well with Swann. The Duke of Dab confronted his rival on the way back to the locker room, claiming that it was all part of the supposed good nature of their rivalry. Swann didn't buy it and told the first-ever WWE Cruiserweight Champion that he was starting to see TJP's true character. Will TJP's continued quest to best Swann truly remain friendly, or has the winner of the Cruiserweight Classic crossed a line with Swann, potentially at the risk of their rivalry going from friendly to bitter?  205 Live Preview: August 21, 2017 After losing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship six days after claiming it from Neville, Akira Tozawa challenges The King of the Cruiserweights to a SummerSlam rematch! Plus, is The Brian Kendrick wise to challenge Gentleman Jack Gallagher to a Gentleman’s Duel? The Brian Kendrick hopes to reason with Gentleman Jack Gallagher in a Gentleman’s Duel. In his efforts to berate Gentleman Jack Gallagher, The Brian Kendrick has unleashed an aggressive side of Gallagher, who has been full of unbridled rage. At first, it seemed this was all part of The Man with a Plan’s strategy. However, following their singles contest last month which resulted in Gallagher being disqualified for ignoring the official’s orders, Kendrick seemed to realize his folly. In the two weeks that followed their battle, Kendrick has suffered a pair of brutal attacks at the hands of his nemesis, which has left the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion skittish and paranoid. After being attacked during his match with Mustafa Ali last week on WWE 205 Live, The Man with a Plan decided that the only way to deal with Gallagher was to challenge him to a Gentleman’s Duel. However, Kendrick may not realize what he’s getting into. The last time Gallagher was involved in a Gentleman’s Duel was against Ariya Daivari late last year. Thinking he had the advantage, The Persian Lion found himself thrown from the ring by Gentleman Jack. Could Kendrick suffer the same fate, or will Gallagher accept an offer of parlay from The Man with a Plan? Can Tozawa repeat history and defeat Neville once again? Last week on Raw, Akira Tozawa shocked the WWE Universe by putting an end to Neville’s long reign as WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Despite the victory, their match for SummerSlam remained intact, only with The King of the Cruiserweights now as the challenger. At The Biggest Event of the Summer, a refocused Neville reclaimed his throne by defeating The Stamina Monster in an action-packed and bitter throwdown. There’s no denying that Neville set out to do what he intended, but his loss on Raw was still an unexpected bump in the road. Although the two-time Cruiserweight Champion felt vindicated in his SummerSlam victory, Tozawa refused to fade away. While reveling in his victory on Raw after SummerSlam, Neville was approached by Titus O’Neil and his Titus Worldwide client, Tozawa. The duo informed The King of the Cruiserweights that Tozawa would have his rematch tonight on WWE 205 Live.  205 Live Preview: September 5, 2017 Tonight on WWE 205 Live, Enzo Amore, Cedric Alexander, Gran Metalik, Tony Nese and The Brian Kendrick battle in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match to determine who will challenge Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at WWE No Mercy. What is the status of TJP's injured knee? During Rich Swann’s battle with Ariya Daivari three weeks ago, Swann and the WWE Universe were caught off-guard when TJP entered the arena on crutches with a previously undisclosed knee injury. The revelation distracted Swann long enough for The Persian Lion to claim victory, but the question of how TJP was injured remained. A week earlier, The Fil-Am Flash and Swann battled in a highly competitive match with TJP emerging victorious. Despite the lingering questions about The Duke of Dab's knee, TJP encouraged Swann to keep focus on a rematch with Daivari. When Swann and Daivari squared off again last week on WWE 205 Live, TJP joined the commentary team – still needing the assistance of crutches. As the action spilled to the outside, TJP prevented Daivari from using the crutch against Swann. Losing focus on his opponent, The Persian Lion found himself on the losing end of the bout, prompting him to attack TJP. To the surprise of Swann and the WWE Universe, TJP battled back, moving around the ring as though uninjured, even nailing The Persian Lion with a Detonation Kick. Swann was confused and suspicious about TJP's status and the nature of his injury, but he accepted the assist. What is The Duke of Dab's status? Is he ready to compete? Who will challenge Neville at WWE No Mercy? At SummerSlam, Neville defeated Akira Tozawa to reclaim the WWE Cruiserweight Championship he lost one week earlier. Two nights removed from The Biggest Event of the Summer, The King of the Cruiserweights defeated the Japanese Superstar a second time, reaffirming his dominance. It was then that Enzo Amore made his game-changing debut on WWE 205 Live, confronting Neville. Although The King of the Cruiserweights brushed off The Certified G, he kept a close eye on not only Amore – but other potential challengers as well. The Realest Guy in the Room wasted no time establishing himself as a formidable competitor in the Cruiserweight division. After defeating Noam Dar in singles competition on Raw, Enzo teamed up with Gran Metalik and Cedric Alexander to battle Dar, Drew Gulak and Tony Nese. Following a competitive battle, The Certified G secured victory by pinning "The Premier Athlete" while using the ropes as leverage. Last night on Raw, Enzo once again led himself, Metalik and Alexander to victory in a rematch, this time by driving a thumb into the eye of Drew Gulak when the official was distracted. Despite Enzo's questionable tactics, the trio reveled in their victory before being interrupted by the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Neville informed the tandem that they would battle Tony Nese and former WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match to decide who will challenge The King of the Crusierweights at WWE No Mercy.  205 Live Preview: September 12, 2017 Tonight on WWE 205 Live, TJP and Rich Swann will go toe-to-toe in their highly-anticipated rubber match for the ultimate bragging rights. Plus, can Enzo Amore find the right strategy to dethrone WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville at WWE No Mercy? Is Enzo Amore's gift of gab writing checks he can't cash? Enzo Amore certainly made a splash when he arrived on WWE 205 Live, confronting WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville. Wasting no time getting into the fray, The Certified G earned several victories, despite the victorious circumstances being less than fair for the losing party. The Realest Guy in the Room is a master on the mic and knows how to enrage his opponents, but his crafty in-ring strategy may not be enough to dethrone The King of the Cruiserweights at WWE No Mercy. Last night in Raw, Enzo was a guest on “Miz TV.” However, The Certified G picked the most inopportune time to make his way to the ring – during The Miz and Maryse's surprise pregnancy announcement. Enzo didn't do himself any favors by trading verbal jabs with The Miz, but in an effort to prove he's ready for a championship fight, The Realest Guy in the Room challenged the Intercontinental Champion. Relying on his swiftness and gift of gab, Enzo tried to mount an effective offense against the new dad-to-be, but asking if Miz was really the father to Maryse's child was a bridge too far. Enzo won the match by disqualification, but he paid the price as The Miz and The Miztourage had their way with him. After the match, Enzo was confronted by WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville, who simply laughed at his WWE No Mercy challenger. Can The Certified G find a winning strategy before WWE No Mercy, or will he swiftly bow before the king? Rich Swann and TJP set to settle their rivalry. The friendly rivalry between TJP and Rich Swann comes to a head as the former WWE Cruiserweight Champions square off following the Mae Young Classic on WWE Network. The rivalry between the two dominated the summer and led to two of the finest battles in WWE 205 Live history. Those two contests – the first on July 4 and the second on Aug. 8 – saw each competitor earn a victory, leading to this rubber match. Despite the split wins, Swann's goal has been to get The Duke of Dab back to the level he was at when he claimed victory in the Cruiserweight Classic. For his part, TJP wants to show that not only is he a better all-around Superstar than Swann, but also that he is primed to reclaim the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and prove he is the best of the Cruiserweight Division. However, aside from in-ring ability, The Fil-Am Flam has done his best to get inside Swann's head. At first, TJP wanted to "one-up" his friend in everything he did, and more recently, TJP appeared to suffer a knee injury that Swann was unaware of, leading to confusion on Swann's end. Tonight, TJP and Rich Swann throw down in Sin City in a hotly-anticipated rubber match. Who will claim ultimate bragging rights?
