205 Live Preview: December 5, 2017

Last night on Raw, Drew Gulak won an incredible Fatal 4-Way Match, earning the opportunity to face Rich Swann to determine who will face Enzo Amore for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. With Enzo putting Gulak in charge of The Zo Train tonight, could Gulak prove he is a better leader than The Certified G, leading to a rift amongst the allies?

Why have Gentleman Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick turned their attention to Kalisto?

Last week, WWE 205 Live played host to a clash of competitive styles between Gentleman Jack Gallagher and former WWE Crusierweight Champion Kalisto. For the masked lucha libre sensation, the match represented a chance to regain his momentum and refocus his efforts on reclaiming the Crusierweight Title. Despite the highly competitive nature of the contest, it ended prematurely when The Brian Kendrick charged the ring and unloaded his fury on Kalisto.

After recovering from his opponent’s patented Salida del Sol, Gallagher joined his ally, and the two attacked Kalisto, displaying their trademark cruelty. The question remains, however, as to why the duo attacked the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion. The Brian Kendrick always has a plan, and their motive could potentially be the same as in the past – trying to help other Cruiserweights embrace their own aggression – or could something more sinister be afoot?

Will Drew Gulak steer The Zo Train to a better WWE 205 Live?

Last night on Raw, Drew Gulak proved just how calculating of a tactician he is when he managed to capitalize on Cedric Alexander delivering Lumbar Checks to Tony Nese and Mustafa Ali by taking out Alexander and securing the pinfall for himself. The unexpected end to the contest shocked an already breathless WWE Universe following a highly competitive Fatal 4-Way Match that was prime display of what WWE 205 Live is all about.

The prospect of Enzo Amore defending the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against a member of The Zo Train has always been a possibility, but complications may arise as The Certified G’s opponent could be his most trusted and vocal ally, Drew Gulak. Despite the potential conflict, following Gulak’s win on Raw, The Realest Champ in the Room put Gulak in charge of The Zo Train while Enzo is on an international tour.

With a potential opportunity to face Enzo for the WWE Cruiserweight Title in the cards, Gulak has a chance to show the other members of The Zo Train that he is a better leader that The Certified G. If Gulak can rally the support of The Zo Train to follow his lead, the possibility of facing – and defeating – Enzo Amore and becoming the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion could do wonders for his campaign for a better WWE 205 Live.

How will Gulak fare with Enzo’s microphone in his possession? Will he emerge as a new leader and shake up The Zo Train? Find out tonight on WWE 205 Live at 10/9 C on the award-winning WWE Network.

Given last nights Raw and how good that Fatal 4 Way match was and the Nia/Enzo angle, I might watch 205 Live tonight.

Oh wait, I'm not subbed to the Network currently. Darn. Oh well.

205 Live Preview: December 12, 2017

After winning the “Second Chance” Fatal 4-Way Match on Raw, Cedric Alexander sets his sights on Drew Gulak and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. Plus, is Nia Jax causing The Certified G to lose focus?

Enzo Amore is thinking about Nia Jax.

Last week on Raw, after trying to encourage the members of The Zo Train, The Certified G was confronted by Nia Jax, who had only one question, “How you doin’?” The Realest Champ in the Room seemed stunned at Nia’s presence, but one week later, the WWE Cruiserweight Champion still had her on his mind. While having a pep talk with his close ally Drew Gulak about the “Second Chance” Fatal 4-Way, Enzo accidentally mentioned Nia’s name while listing the competitors. Gulak caught the error but played it off, despite Muscles Marinara looking rather preoccupied with the thought of Nia.

Later, once again conferring with Gulak, Enzo was approached by Nia and did his best to impress her and take attention away from his associate. Before walking away, Nia told the champ she wanted to speak with him in private. The Realest Champ in the Room was certainly intrigued, but the sudden interest Nia has in him has already proven to be a distraction, as seen earlier in the evening.

With Gulak and Cedric Alexander set to battle next week on Raw for an opportunity to challenge Enzo for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, is Nia’s presence causing The Realest Champ in the Room to lose focus before such a major challenge?

Cedric Alexander is poised to change the course of WWE 205 Live.

With Rich Swann’s opportunity to face Drew Gulak to determine who would challenge Enzo Amore for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship revoked by WWE, a “Second Chance” Fatal 4-Way Match was held on Raw to determine who would earn the chance. After besting Zo Train members Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari, as well as his ally Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander earned the right to face Gulak next week on Raw.

Before Alexander faces Gulak on Raw, the North Carolina native will no doubt be confronted by The Zo Train on WWE 205 Live, potentially to weaken him before his match next week. However, Alexander has proved his resilience on more than one occasion and will certainly not back down from any challenge.

Ready to seize the opportunity that awaits, Gulak is the perfect opponent for Alexander given the circumstances. After all, it was Gulak who prevented Alexander from winning last week’s Fatal 4-Way Match. Will Alexander show Gulak and The Realest Champ in the Room exactly what they are up against, or will The Zo Train strike first?

Don’t miss the action on WWE 205 Live at 10/9 C on the award-winning WWE Network.
