 205 Live Preview: May 2, 2017 Tonight on WWE 205 Live, Rich Swann and Noam Dar finally meet in singles competition to settle their heated rivalry. Also, is the alliance between TJP and Neville in jeopardy? Noam Dar and Rich Swann finally go one-on-one. The heated rivalry between Rich Swann and Noam Dar will finally come to a head tonight on WWE 205 Live. For weeks, Swann sent gifts to Dar’s ex-girlfriend, Alicia Fox, that The Scottish Supernova would intercept and pass off as his own. Eventually, the plan backfired and Fox opened a gift that exploded in a cloud of baby powder. Ultimately, Fox dumped Dar, and Swann revealed that although he wasn’t romantically interested in the former Divas Champion, he was defending the honor of her previous boyfriend, Cedric Alexander, who has been sidelined with an injury. Tonight, Swann tries to continue defending Alexander’s honor as The Scottish Supernova seeks to avenge his own when the two Superstars meet in singles competition. Is the alliance between TJP and Neville about to break? Ever since forming an allegiance with WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville, TJP has adopted a more aggressive style in the ring, and it has certainly earned the respect of The King of the Cruiserweights. Although Austin Aries defeated Neville by disqualification at WWE Payback, the champion retained the title, and new challengers are eager for an opportunity, including TJP. On Raw, The Duke of Dab seemed put off by the way The King of the Cruiserweights escaped WWE Payback with his championship reign intact. However, TJP also made it clear that he wants an opportunity to reclaim the title. Although he was defeated by A-Double on Raw, TJP took Neville’s advice and made the most of the encounter, attacking Aries after the match. Tonight on WWE 205 Live, TJP battles Lince Dorado in an effort to prove he is ready to challenge Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.  205 Live Preview: May 9, 2017 Tonight on WWE 205 Live, TJP lived up to his end of a bargain with Neville, earning a WWE Cruiserweight Championship opportunity by defeating Gentleman Jack Gallagher on Raw. Will The King of the Cruiserweights honor the agreement? Will London be declared a No Fly Zone? Last Tuesday on WWE 205 Live, Drew Gulak received some vindication in his campaign to end high-risk and high-flying competition by defeating Mustafa Ali. Since his crusade began, Gulak has targeted Ali, and prevented the high-flying competitor from claiming victories against the likes of Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari. A savvy in-ring technician with uncanny awareness, Gulak countered a high-risk maneuver to defeat Ali. With his recent string of defeats, will Mustafa Ali follow the advice of his nemesis and abandon the high-flying, fast-paced arsenal that has endeared him to the WWE Universe, or will he find himself emboldened to push the limits of his own abilities? Whatever course of action Ali takes to regain momentum, one can most certainly assume that Drew Gulak aims to make London a no-fly zone this Tuesday night. A title opportunity for TJP? On Raw, TJP confronted his ally – WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville – and expressed his desire for a title opportunity against the King of the Cruiserweights. TJP explained that he held up his end of the bargain by removing Austin Aries from contention, so it was now Neville’s time to honor their deal. For his part, The King of the Cruiserweights didn’t take too kindly to the demands, but the calculating Cruiserweight Champion told The Duke of Dab that if he wanted an opportunity, he would have to defeat Gentleman Jack Gallagher. Shortly thereafter, TJP did exactly that. In a hard-fought contest, the inaugural Cruiserweight Champion defeated Gallagher, but Neville remained coy about whether he’d honor his commitment. In a display of his aggression and desire to sideline any competition, TJP attacked Gallagher after the match, until Austin Aries came to the British Superstar’s aid. Will Neville grant TJP his Cruiserweight Championship opportunity, or will The King of the Cruiserweights claim that Aries is not yet out of the picture?  205 Live Preview: May 16, 2017 Tonight on WWE 205 Live, TJP hopes to earn a WWE Cruiserweight Championship opportunity by knocking No. 1 contender Austin Aries out of the picture. Also, how will Drew Gulak respond to Mustafa Ali’s continued use of high-flying tactics? Will Drew Gulak confront Mustafa Ali? After weeks of protesting the high-flying nature of the Cruiserweight division —specifically targeting Mustafa Ali — Drew Gulak found vindication in his campaign by countering a high-risk maneuver and defeating Ali in singles competition. The loss clearly bothered Ali as he squared off with Tony Nese last week. Struggling to gain momentum against the powerful and agile Premier Athlete, Ali was attempting to utilize a more conservative strategy, much to the delight of an observing Gulak. However, as the battle raged on and Ali was taking more punishment than he dished out, he shifted course and began to rely on his aerial arsenal. Watching from the locker room, Gulak couldn’t believe that Ali would have the audacity to do what he does best, but the strategy paid dividends for Ali as he picked up the victory. How will Drew Gulak respond to Ali? Will he make the high-flying competitor once again regret taking risks? TJP and Neville want Austin Aries out of the picture. At WWE Extreme Rules, Austin Aries will have a third opportunity to capture the WWE Cruiserweight Championship from Neville. Their previous encounters — at WrestleMania and WWE Payback — both ended controversially, and in the aftermath of each, Aries has still emerged as the No. 1 contender. However, The King of the Cruiserweights has taken advantage of his alliance with TJP to weaken Aries and, he hopes, remove him from the equation entirely. If TJP successfully eliminates Aries from contention, Neville has been promised to reward him with a championship opportunity. In recent weeks, TJP has targeted Aries’ knee, but the efforts have only temporarily sidetracked a determined A-Double, who wants to prove Neville isn’t invincible. Tonight on WWE 205 Live, the Cruiserweight Champion and TJP plan to solve their Austin Aries problem once and for all as The Duke of Dab battles A-Double in singles competition. On WWE’s Facebook page yesterday, a stipulation was added to Neville’s Cruiserweight Championship defense against Austin Aries: The two Superstars will now meet in a Submission Match at WWE Extreme Rules. Last week on WWE 205 Live, Aries vanquished The King of the Cruiserweights’ ally, TJP, in singles competition. Following the contest, Neville attacked the injured knee of his nemesis in an attempt to permanently sideline him.  205 Live Preview: June 6, 2017 Tonight on WWE 205 Live, after forging an alliance with The King of the Cruiserweights to earn a title opportunity, TJP challenges Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. What's next for Austin Aries? After narrowly escaping the loss of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania and WWE Payback – using questionable tactics in both instances – Neville defeated Austin Aries in a Submission Match at WWE Extreme Rules to reaffirm his place atop the Cruiserweight division. Despite making Neville tap out on the outside of the ring, the rules of the match required A-Double to make his opponent submit inside the squared circle. Engaged in a highly-competitive contest, The King of the Cruiserweights did not employ any nefarious actions in making Aries submit to The Rings of Saturn. Following the loss, Aries tweeted, "And with that it might be time for some serious life reflection and career reevaluation..." Has A-Double effectively ended his quest for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship? Will he seek championship opportunities beyond the Cruiserweight division, or is this the end of Austin Aries as we know him? TJP gets his championship opportunity. Winner of the Cruiserweight Classic and inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP essentially made a deal with the devil.
