Punk returned to Cabana's podcast, as planned. You can listen to it here. Haven't listened to it yet myself.

Wasn't it going to be about fan questions? I guess they tossed that idea out when they got them and saw how stupid they most of them are.

Yeah, they addressed the whole fan questions aspect of it, they apparently didn't realize just how big the show was gonna be, and got overwhelmed with significantly more questions than they had anticipated (and significantly more stupid ones at that). They did still address a handful of the more pertinent ones though.

It was an interesting listen though. The biggest eye opener is hearing Punk talk about getting those e-mails sent to him that he wasn't supposed to read, where he finally saw the proof in front of him that the office was in fact holding him back. You gotta know that same kinda bullshit happens all the time. Hell, if I saw something like that, I wouldn't want to work for them anymore, either...

An interesting read, at least. Says what we're all thinking, too bad no one in charge at WWE will even give it a moment's thought...

^ I agree with the writer that Vince is the biggest problem, after all, it's his show and everything has to be approved by him first. The thing about Vince is he doesn't care if his show sucks because whatever makes him money the most consistently is what's going on the show that night, which explains why John Cena has main-evented more ppv's than anyone else.

Vince isn't solely to blame obviously as the audience is also. The hardcore audience is always going to watch wrestling, but because they will watch it no matter how horrendous the product gets, is the paradox that is killing wrestling, yet also keeping it alive. So long as we continue to watch the smegma, the worse the smegma is going to get.

The hardcore audience at some point in time has to understand that the WWE is not a wrestling promotion anymore; it's an entertainment conglomerate that showcases wrestling. The problem is that there is no other promotion that is easily and consistently accessible enough that can give the audience what it wants. Because WWE is pretty much the sole product in the wrestling market we can most easily get, it's going to continue this way for quite some time.

Hell, if it weren't for our live chats on Mondays, I probably wouldn't still be watching anymore. Sure as shit don't give the company any of my money these days, at least. :P

The only reason I watched Raw on Monday was to see if they were going to dress Hornswoggle up as CM Punk and have him wrestle Ryback. They didn't and needless to say, I won't be watching a Raw until January 5th.

Listening to Austin's podcast and is talking about how he was teaching Cesaro how to do a reverse mule kick and Cesaro telling him he can't use it because they banned cheap shots.

:facepalm2:

win a match that matters for once thus giving people a reason to hate him.

I've been trying to plot out the potential card for Mania next year and the thing I'm stumped on is whether the WWE Championship match will be Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns vs John Cena. I'm finding it harder and harder to think that WWE would book a Reigns-Lesnar match because, following Lesnar having to call all the spots in the match with Taker this year, that match would be awful. I'm leaning towards a Reigns-Cena match because it would probably be the better match, Cena would main event, and because we still have this beautiful picture to look back on:

Whatever match ends up being booked, I see Reigns going over and Seth Rollins cashing in to end the ppv.
