I'm telling you guys, Punk vs. JDF would draw money. People would pay to watch CM Punk destroy JDF, because it's what would happen. JDF is all talk, and while, yes, he is technically undefeated (last I heard) in MMA fighting, he hasn't faced a "UFC Guy", or even someone like Punk. Both men have trained for years in different fields. I'm not sure it would be a good idea for a debut match though, JDF needs to actually prove he is even worthy of the UFC first (granted, so does Punk, but Punk is a much bigger name than JDF, whether JDF believes that or not). |

I don't think it will matter who his opponent is because it will be Punk who's going to draw the die hard IWC who normally don't pay to watch UFC. As for Punk's fighting ability, I just don't see him being a threat to pretty much anybody in UFC. If everything Punk said in the podcast with Cabana is true, than Punk is one tough SOB fighting through all the injuries and staph infection in his last year in WWE. He's definitely got the guts, but I don't think Punk has the skill. |

I think you're assuming that a good amount of people and UFC fans even know who JDF is. Plus as TT said Punk is the draw here, it doesnt matter who his opponent will be. Punk draws the money. |
