That whole match was filled with moments like that. Classic Michaels giving the big FU to Hogan.

What do you mean? In no way can Michaels give Hulk Hogan the FU. He's far too scrawny to pull off that kind of manoeuvre. Only super Cena would be capable of pulling it off *sarcasm* #Iknowwhatyou'rereallytalkingabout. This match proved Shawn Michaels was an unstoppable force when it came to overselling. Not even a combination of both Dolph Ziggler and The Rock could have performed the match to the same degree. Hell, if Rocky and Ziggles got together and had a baby, that baby would still be getting pointers off the UNSTOPPABLE force that was Shawn Michaels ![]() |

I would've rather seen The Rock Vs. Ziggler than The Rock Vs. Cena.

Swap the Ziggler part with Michaels and you'd have yourself a winning combination

Outside of taking a Stone Cold Stunner, is The Rock really considered to be a great seller (of moves, not merchandise)?

He's was a pretty fantastic seller. The guy made everyone he worked with look phenomenal (Jericho, Angle, HHH, Mick Foley, Benoit, I'm looking at you). One of the better aspects that came out of his recent matches with Punk, was the pain and misery he showcased to help make the damage Punk was inflicting look believable. If you went back and viewed them for a second time, it's clear The Rock was actually selling rather consistently throughout the entire span of those encounters. Maybe not quite to the same degree he used too, but infinitely better than what you would see from someone like Cena (For example). It really was one of the few positive things I can say The Rock accomplished during his brief stay. He sold well. It's a shame how there really isn't much more praise that can be given. |

I dont want to say this but... Rock is a terrible wrestler even in the Attitude Era. Unless he had great chemistry with his opponent, it wasn't a good match. Fortunately, he always found a way to build chemistry. |
