Shit, I'd take that over Bryan vs. Sheamus.

Now watch them take this as an opportunity to spam us with Bryan/Ziggler matches every single week until we're so sick of it that we actually don't wanna see it anymore come Wrestlemania. :argh:

I have to say, all this hatred for Reigns makes me sad. I love Reigns. I think Reigns is great. You're harsh on him just because he spent time in prison and Tazz no-sold a segment he was in, but y'all are just a bunch of marks.

...oh. Oh?

We HAVEN'T been talking about Luther Reigns all this time?

So as I'm writing a new blog post celebrating my 10th anniversary of blogging this Friday, I'm digging through old posts and come across this classic piece of work that I'd like to share with you all now. It's "CENA presents The Top 5 Wrestling Moves (to perform on your cat!)" :kappa:

Seconded.

Watch Ziggler get ass raped on Raw this Monday by Big Show in a squash and find his way on Main Event by Fast Lane.

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't want to watch Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler clash on the Grandest Stage of 'em all.

I hear Ziggler is really pushing for a one-on-one match against Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania.

After the Royal Rumble he tweeted, ''Yo DB, was pulling for you, brother. but if you really want to steal the show #WrestleMania Im here & angrier.''

Bryan simply responded, ''I'm in!''

Ziggler also tweeted the following on Wednesday:

''WE signed our lives away… you have no idea, but it's always been there. introduced as afterthoughts, repeatedly forced to prove why WE belong, told the sky was the limit yet knowing there was no chance… 1 broke through that ceiling after an unprecedented fight, 1 has been banging his head against it for years. 1 is a nice guy with a killer instinct, 1 is not afraid to rub people the wrong way to get what it is his. 1 is thankful & smiles, 1 smirks & says damn right. 2 different, yet legitimate backgrounds. 2 stars who became super purely bc they weren't supposed to. Stealing the show is a catchphrase. Get over IT! WE sure as hell did! I dare you to take IT away from US! WE already own that RING. WE are the saints…''
Just came across this on Twitter and was about to ask others if they saw it!!! Good catch!!!!!!!

That would be some good stuff and maybe the two would be allowed to propel a secondary title while they're at it ( one would have to win the IC title)

It keeps fans from tying to get him in the main event presumably. Not a bad idea for WWE to think about it

Yeah, I'm pretty much in agreement over anything that has two of WWE's brightest stars given the spot they deserve on the show.

I'm fine if DB doesn't get into the WWE title match at Mania, tho, I've been anticipating what a Bryan-Lesnar match would have looked like and I'm sure many more regular fans have too. DB-Ziggler is a fine match that I would enjoy watching, DB-Cesaro too, but Cesaro is persona non grata and I think Ziggler will be soon as well. Sadly, we'll probably never get a Bryan-Lesnar match as Lesnar looks to be on his way out soon.

Just about anything beats a Sheamus-Bryan match even though that wouldn't be horrible, it's just been there, seen it and last time those two met at Mania it was just as big a "fuck you" to the fans as the Rumble was this past Sunday.

Even if it becomes Bryan-Ziggler at Mania, I'm not paying 10 bucks to watch that show. Don't care if Sting and Triple H work a match, it's something I can catch on youtube an hour later.

Speaking of Bryan vs. Ziggler:

''As noted recently, Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan was rumored to be in the works for WrestleMania 31, however WWE has changed their mind and are expected to go in a different direction.

The recent interaction between Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan is not just social media chatter, as WWE is currently building towards an eventual Ziggler vs. Bryan match for WrestleMania.

Speaking of WrestleMania, another battle royal is expected for this year’s show. There is no definitive word yet as to whether or not the battle royal, which is designed to get as many talents on the card as possible, will be another Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, although there was talk at one point that the match would become a new annual tradition.''

So at least we now have something to look forward to...

I'm sure the Andre the Giant Battle Royal will catch on like Money in the Bank and eventually evolve into its own stand-alone PPV.

Just before the Royal Rumble PPV, Daniel Bryan was interviewed by Miami Herald’s Scott Fishman.

Below are highlights from the interview:

On possibly wrestling Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31: ''Facing Brock Lesnar is my ultimate dream match for WrestleMania 31. If you asked me right now what would be your ideal situation for WrestleMania 31, it would be wrestling Brock Lesnar for the WWE world heavyweight championship in the main event. I think Brock Lesnar is the ultimate monster. He is the beast, but I also think I'm the ultimate underdog. I think it's something the fans want to see. I definitely want to see it. So that's what I'm hoping for.''

On his upcoming autobiography: ''At first I was going to write it myself. Then I was doing so much physical therapy and all that stuff, I didn't think I was able to do it. We had somebody that helped me write it. Then we got the first draft, and he did a really good job, but it wasn't my voice. My career has been very different with different stories and experiences. It's hard for anybody else to express that. Then all of a sudden you have this first draft of the first attempt on the book, and I didn't think it was working. So since November, I went back to writing it myself again. Then because the first draft was due actually on Thursday when SmackDown moved to Thursday nights, I've been writing like 2,000 words a day. So when everyone is off talking and getting ready for SmackDown, I'm working to get the first draft done.''

On who he would want to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame: ''I actually haven't really thought about it, but if I were to be, I would want William Regal to do the honors. He has been the influential person in my career by far. So I would want him. Plus he is a great speaker. I think he would be great.''
Oh yes, it's true it's true!

Wait...yeah...you may be onto something here. Let's build a PPV around a battle royal. That's brilliant. And maybe the winner could get a title shot? Brilliant. Brilliant.

The finishing touch? Everyone gets an entrance at different times. I think we have money here.

Oh dear God no... I've just read online that there's a chance Hulk Hogan might return for a retirement match at this years Wrestlemania.

I found his interview with BANG Showbiz:

''I got some advice from a wise man, his name is Vince McMahon and he said, ‘Never, say never,''' said Hogan. ''I'm back home in the WWE, this is where I started, I'm home and to end the legacy and put the period on the end of the sentence I am training right now like I'm getting ready for the WWE Championship. You just never know when Hulk Hogan is going to tear the house down. It could be any time, it could be anywhere. I am training and getting ready for my last match, my last run or my retirement match. It's not over until the fat lady sings and I haven't put the period at the end of the sentence yet.”

Regarding a possible retirement match on the Grandest Stage of 'em all:

''If it happened I would want it to be the greatest match of all time, of course,'' said Hogan. ''If it's the end of my career and a huge emotional send-off that would be great, or if it's the beginning of another huge run for Hulkamania and me chasing the dream of winning the WWE title, that would be brilliant. I'm thinking very positively about getting back in the ring.''

In Hogan's mind he's always training for a final match or whatever, but what's in Hogan's mind doesn't mean shit compared to what's in Vince's mind about Hogan.

Not much chance this will happen unless Vince gets Hogan's word it will be his last match ever and Hogan accepts that it will not go more than 5 minutes.

^ I do feel that coming because Hogan was calling for one in that panel this summer with HBK and Flair. If it's not Cena, Rusev vs Hogan.
