I mean, who is Roman Reigns? He's the Shield's muscle. And... what else? I mean, seriously, what has he done to differentiate himself and evolve from that characteristic ever since the Shield broke up? We've seen Rollins and Ambrose go under significant yet natural evolutions, including their music, their attire, and even their characters. But what about Reigns? He still comes out to the Shield's music and entrance, still wears the same Shield attire, and as for a gimmick, well, let's just say that his "sufferin' succotash" schitck is anything but a natural evolution of his previous character. But all of that on top of the fact that he also hasn't had a single significant feud or match since the breakup, where as, again, Ambrose and Rollins both have him beat in leaps and bounds in that regard as well. WWE has literally done nothing with Reigns, they've done nothing to establish him as a singles standout star on his own. And if anything, he comes across as the one guy from the group who can't grow beyond the glory days of the Shield. That's right, Roman Reigns is the fucking Road Dogg or X-Pac of the group, the one guy who's still coming out to the same old stable music and wearing the same old stable attire well after the stable's no more. And all the while, they've given him really nothing worthwhile at all to do. Seriously the only thing of significance he achieved last year was when he was very randomly awarded "Superstar of the Year" for the mere act of existing, and literally nothing more. And yet they wonder why people aren't reacting well to his sudden shoot to the top with his, quite frankly, given his booking and removing any actual "behind the scenes" news, completely random and out of fucking nowhere victory at the Royal Rumble. So basically, just another way of saying that he's getting too much too soon. I mean, god forbid you actually build up, or hell, even do something, anything, with the guy you wanna be the flag bearer of your company... You're right. The only thing that we've been told about Reigns, that we know about him is that Reigns' family are basically all wrestlers; he's in the family business, which is basically working for Vince McMahon. This is not enough to win over the audience, if anything, seeing another unproven favorite of the higher ups who's got the right lineage is just outright infuruiating as it's what's wrong with the world today. As for Reigns accomplishments before the Shield broke apart, he was their most dominant force who tore through the opposing team at SuSe 2013 and broke the elimination record in last year's Rumble. After Shield, he was the Superstar of the Year in 2014 and won the Rumble this year. That's quite a lot of achievements for a career that's only lasted about 2 years now, but it's so damn forced. He's never had a memorable or successful singles feud and already he's been fastracked into beating the man who broke the Streak and is the most dominant champion the WWE has had since possibly ever and not just at some random event, but Wrestlemania. His ring work and promos are not exciting or noteworthy and his responses from the fans are nothing to write home about either. It's the response from the audience that should dictate who achieves the most not those who are booked to achieve the most should dictate the crowd's reaction. What WWE is trying to shovel on us is not what I want and I doubt it's what most of the audience who watches the show want, but it's what we're getting and are going to get for the foreseeable future and that's what is so damn frustrating.

My brain's incapable for continuing this post right now, but at least I made my main point.
