I had this idea but no idea if you guys would be on board for it.

I like the plug.dj thing we do. It's a hell of a lot of fun and I enjoyed the last one after the Rumble. (boy, it took the edge off that ending...) So it got me thinking; people stream movies together all the time but what if we used it to watch wrestling? I'm not talking about watching Raw or Smackdown together (which we kind of do, after all, we comment on it in the big thread), but what if we picked a random selection of matches, agreed to stream it on a quiet day (like Tuesday, Thursday, or whenever TNA is on) using something like TogetherTube, and just have fun with it? We could maybe make it a regular thing, and it would give me something to do. It might be a bit of a stupid idea, though. Thoughts?
How does it work? Like does one person pick a bunch of matches to show or is it all randomized? Do people need the Network? Will it make Roman look strong?

We could take turns picking a set of matches; having everyone pick one match each week would be too messy, but everyone can have a fair crack at doing their thing. So, I could do it one week, you do it the next, Truth the week after, Cryce next or whatever - doesn't matter who does it in what order, just as long as everyone gets their chance to show everyone else a bunch of matches that they like.

I mean, I think it'd be a good way to discover new wrestling and also add an event to the week or month; something that'll make wrestling fun, especially after a bad Raw or something like that.

Also, Roman is strong enough, and sexy, and powerful, and he is not threatening me with a cocked fist as I type this, no sir.

Well it sounds like a neat concept and could be fun. I've never done a plug dj thing so I dont know how any of this stuff works, but if others are interested I say we give it a shot.

We have actually been contemplating this idea for a while now, but for some reason we've yet to go through with it (at least not properly, anyway).

Yeah, I found some old posts:

''Been thinking we should maybe hold 'wrasslin' events on the Turntable. And by that I mean we could set a time/date every couple of weeks or so that fits everyone's schedule (By everyone, I mean the regular group who turn up), then spend a couple of hours watching classic, unappreciated, obscure, hilarious, or perhaps terrible matches that have effected us in some way and wish to share. I think it might be fun, and would certainly liven things up during those days when the forum is rather quiet. Who knows, it might even start interesting discussions and may help us become familiar with subject matter we were unaware of beforehand (Members such as Brett could really benefit from something like this).

To me it comes across as a slightly more beneficial and interesting method than merely posting random matches on the forum. This way everyone will be actively watching and discussing the same thing at the same time. But ultimately, it's up to you guys. What do you think?''

''So I tried out Google + Hangout today with my GF (which has Youtube integrated for easy access), and in terms of performance it was incredibly smooth whilst being surprisingly easy to use at the same time. You can have up to 10 people in a group watching Youtube videos together (once you've downloaded the plugin), so I'm going to throw a recommendation out there for when/if we finally decide to start watching wrestling videos together.

You can pause videos and skip sections easy enough, and can even change the sound (which won't effect the audio for anybody else). All videos automatically play in high definition (if available) and I found almost no slowdown throughout the duration of my time with it. It's a surprisingly neat little system they've put in place. So despite the fact I really dislike Google + for the most part, I have to give credit where credit is due.

Considering Google have forced most of their crap down our throats anyway, it makes sense to at least use Google + for the reasons stated above alone.

What are your thoughts and would any of you be down for this?''

I do still think it's a fun little idea, so we should definitely come up with a time and date that suits everybody at some point.

See, this idea wouldn't have been easy to implement a while ago because the one best place to do it, Synchtube, was killed off due to a lack of funding. But in the last six or so months, many, many imitators have sprung up the do the job just as simply and even better. Also, for nearly all of them, there's no reason to sign up, so you don't need to deal with Google nonsense ;)

''Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast with Triple H from Monday night continues to make headlines, which is not surprising considering the number of controversial topics discussed.

Regarding Triple H’s comments a bout CM Punk where he said there is no animosity between the two parties, a lot of people were rolling their eyes at that one. That said, Triple H’s description of Punk saying “everything’s fine” when everything is not fine is viewed as a pretty accurate assessment of his demeanor.

WWE talent was also surprised that Triple H acknowledged that he prefers a 2-hour format for RAW. While its certainly a popular opinion, there are no plans to scale back RAW due to the millions of dollars WWE generates in ad revenue from the extra hour of prime time programming each week.

It’s also worth noting that during Triple H’s weekly sit down interview with Michael Cole at WWE.com, Triple H said that the show did 40% more viewers than Vince McMahon’s appearance on the Stone Cold Podcast back in December.''

Just listened to it today. I don't really have much thoughts on it like I did with the Punk and Vince podcasts, though I found it funny how, after spending an hour berating fans for essentially playing "armchair quarterback" with the WWE product, the two then proceed to do just that when discussing the Super Bowl. Hypocrisy much?

Also interesting that Austin didn't really seem to be drilling Trips with those hard hitting questions like he was with Vince. With Vince, it was almost like he was setting him up only to call complete bullshit on him, but here, he just accepted everything Trips said at face value and moved right along without digging any deeper. I wonder what was up with that.

Who do you think responds better to being made to look bad in front of an audience: Vince or Triple H?

Vince was willing to make himself look like a jackass who got his ass kicked every week by Stone Cold. Do you think Triple H would ever book himself that way? Every week Raw ends who are the ones standing on the stage looking untouchable? Why, it's The Authority.

Stone Cold was a little soft on Trips, but they've known each other a long time and Austin, like all of us, know that Triple H doesn't run the company. Does Triple H deserve criticism? Yeah, he makes himself the center of attention all the time when the focus should be on others like Bryan, Ziggler, Ryback, Harper, Wyatt, and others.
