Check this out: ''We spoke to a couple WWE sources over the weekend that informed us The Undertaker has agreed to wrestle at WrestleMania XXX. WWE had been optimistic that he’d be wrestling on the anniversary show, but the official word came within the past week. With WrestleMania just over 3 months away, there is still so opponent locked in to challenge his streak.'' Even more interesting: ''With his return to WWE imminent, Batista has been packing on a lot of muscle lately. As we’ve been reporting, the original plan for Batista was for him to make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble, with Dave Melzter reporting that Batista could very well win the Rumble and challenge Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. The deal was brokered by Triple H and even though he isn’t getting as sweet of a deal as Brock Lesnar, he is getting a very lucrative that include appearances at PPV’s, RAW & SmackDown tapings as well as WWE live events. This is said to be a ‘close to full time’ short-term that will keep him part of WWE storylines beyond WrestleMania XXX.'' Source: http://www.sescoops.com/undertaker-agrees-work-wrestlemania-batistas-return/#.Urh5dfRdVmM I really hope WWE are not actually considering him to win yet another Royal Rumble. That would mean we will have 2 years in a row where someone who won the RR previously wins it for a second time. As much as I'm intrigued by a feud between Orton and Batista happening, I have to question whether they need to add something as big as a RR victory into the mix. Chances are that this storyline will garner most of the attention as it is and a RR win should only serve as to benefit somebody else. Otherwise, the new talent will be thrown into the background for yet another Wrestlemania event. It would be nice to see younger talent stand out somewhat amongst the sea of legends taking up most of the spotlight again. With that said, nothing is certain at this point in time, but I only hope a sufficient amount of time and effort will be put into the current/active roster in the lead up to Wrestlemania -- despite whether we see veterans return or not. |

It makes sense to have him be a babyface coming back as he will want to promote his "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie comng out in the summer (cant wait for it!) I'm personally hoping he doesn't get involved in the WWE WHC match as that seems like a slap in the face to all the guys who have been busting their tails all year long (Cena, DB, RKO, Punk) to give the biggest match of the wrestling year to a guy who is barely there... im looking at you, Rocky |

WWE shooting themselves in the future foot again. This news also sucks because there is now absolutely no chance that Kurt Angle will make an appearance at Royal Rumble now. |

Batista vs Orton at Wrestlemania for the title would be such a fucking buzzkill. It has to be either Bryan or Punk challenging for the title. |

^ It really ought to be just Bryan and Punk for the title because those two put on the best performances of 2013 by far, with Cena a close third. Apart from being Randy Orton, Randy Orton did absolutely nothing in 2013 to warrant a title match at Wrestlemania and Cena has main evented enough Mania's now, give it a rest. |

At least a Batista vs Randy Orton feud could potentially be good (Despite how lacklustre a match would likely turn out). Besides, if Batista doesn't face Orton at Wrestlemania, it's possible Bryan/Punk may still be looked over. It could potentially end up being Cena for a second time. Honestly, I'd prefer a completely surprising Rumble win (Somebody outside of Bryan/Punk) and have that person face Bryan/Punk (One of them winning the title between now and Wrestlemania) at Wrestlemania. Orton vs Batista could easily draw money/attention and don't need a RR victory or the title thrown into the mix. But that's just my opinion. |

Batista Vs. Orton for the WWE WHC title would be lame as shit. It was already silly when The Rock had the title for Mania, but even then, he had been on and off with the company since 2011. With Batistia it's even more silly, since he hasn't been there at all since 2010 and isn't as big of a star as Rock. Nothin' against the guy or anything though, it's just true. |

I don't think Batista will win the title at all when he comes back. If Batista and Orton end up battling at Mania and Orton still holds the championship, we could be looking at a potential CM Punk 1+ year reign. |
