You have to remember that Jericho has probably known DeMott for many years and may not know the full story here. So it's understandable to expect this sort of reaction from friends/family of the guy. Hell, Jericho was close to Benoit, and even that situation took a long time for most people to fully comprehend. It's a learning process, so of course he's going to defend him for the time being. That would be like if I heard rumours that a close friend of mine was the worst scumbag in history... My natural reaction wouldn't be to just assume some random stories about them were true. I'm sure most people will eventually come around once this has been investigated further (hopefully). |

It should be a big deal. Slapping people around and calling them "faggots" and "pussies" wont make them better wrestlers. I like Ethan Carter's tweet, and if that's whats going on it should be changed. Ask the wrestlers training at Lance Storm's school and see how much verbal abuse they have to deal with. |

I'm sure he'll get his comeuppance eventually. I'm just worried it'll be something that WWE are ''forced'' to investigate instead of the company just trusting what their (former) employees have been saying. |

General consensus is that they want a drill instructor type which is fine but you can be a hardass without being abusive. No excuse for making guys work while injured and especially knocking guys around who have concussions. It's like he learned nothing from Benoit. And then there are the allegations of Demott sexually harassing Bayley...c'mon man. Of all the people in the world to pick on..

I believe WWE issued this statement yesterday: ''WWE took the accusations made two years ago by Austin Matelson very seriously, conducted a full investigation and was unable to validate the claims. Regardless, WWE continues to reinforce policies and procedures to ensure a positive training environment.'' I don't know about you, but wouldn't a full investigation last slightly longer than a couple of days? I honestly don't think they'll take any of this seriously until the police get involved or something. |
