Tommy Dreamer recently posted this on his Facebook page (on the subject of illegal streams): ''I have to post something that's been eating away at me since House of Hardcore 7. It was my 1st IPPV. It was my most successful showing of my brand of what I feel professional wrestling is all about. I couldn't have been happier with how the show came across. Most IPPVS have delays or lost feeds or audio problems. No negative feedback. A fan told me about an illegal streaming server show MY IPPV. I actually contacted the site they said they are a Third party hosting site it is not illegal in their country China so go after the the Daily Motion YouTube and other sites that are showing it & to go F*CK off. Well that put me on a warpath. I know that some countries have no laws with regards to the internet. So if you live in those countries you have immunity from my rage. Anyway I kept on monitoring how many views of my show & it just got me madder & sadder everyday. So I took action . Hired a firm that goes after these people & here is the info. 1.I can do nothing to the actual people who onw the site. However I was able to get the site shut down. Here is the bigger news those scumbags give up the people that ordered them. Email addresses & other info. They also sell that info. To other spam sites. The revenge news for me was most people would get a virus or expose their computer. Remember no laws so when that happens or they take your info you are F*CKED. The end of the day it was 66thousand illegal downloads if you do the math 66,000 X$15 equals $990,000. That changes my life. That changes the landscape of the wrestling buisness. I have a huge long range plan for wrestlers & wrestling fans. With that money it happens and that was just on 1 torrent site. I understand economically at times its hard to come up w/ $15. One time I wanted to watch the Royal Rumble my dad said I ain't paying I got 4 of my friends they all kicked in $10 and we had a great time. For the people that support me. I love you so much. For the people that watched my show illegally thanks for the interest I'm honored that 66thousand of you did. I give you a pass. I have hired a company to go after these people & sites & know they give you up. This company works for a cut so they are ruthless & send your info to other companies if they want to go after you on other movies or PPV events you may have illegally viewed. When you watch a movie or DVD plays & they have those piracy isn't a victimless crime advertisements and you think of those BIG companies like WWE UFC SONY Universal DONT CARE. Well I'm a wrestling fan I have always considered us family so here is a picture of victims who suffer for it. THanks for the support I love you guys. Looking forward to a great show on Saturday. Please share this & spread the word.''

ugh, I really hope there isn't someone within WWE that reads forums like this and gets the idea to actually put Hulk Hogan in the battle royal. I just have the sudden feeling that with other than Miz and Mizdow going into it, there's no real stars. A Battle Royal is probably the least intensive match and if Hogan really wanted to end his career on top, winning the big ATG statue would be the best ending he can get. Could totally see him holding the statue up on the front page of the NY Post with the headline, "HULK HOGAN WINS FINAL MATCH" |

^If Hogan does end up being in the ATG Battle Royal, surely he'd have to come out on top. I'm not sure whether the guy can handle being thrown over the top rope all the way down to the canvas without his knees exploding on impact. |

Ya know, with the lack of people in this battle royal, I think I could accept Hogan winning it only if it WERE HIS LAST MATCH. And no, Hogan couldn't take a bump like that at 61. He's limited to punches and being picked up and teased with being eliminated now. |

I certainly wouldn't accept it. If anything, he should be the final superstar to be eliminated, helping to make the last person standing in the ring look even stronger. Imagine going over by eliminating the legendary Hulk Hogan and thus win the trophy that's dedicated to yet another legend of the industry. It would probably end up becoming a more substantial victory than the previous year... Speaking of which, can anyone remember who won the last rendition of this Battle Royal? Hogan would also no sell being picked up... Just like he did back in the early 2000's.  |

Let's face it: The ATG Battle Royal is wrestlemania filler. I expect no one to win that match to get any anywhere from it because I don't have faith in WWE to think that creatively... anymore. So because of that, I don't think every "old guy" needs to get beat or help a younger guy get over and in this instance is one of the very few cases where I would be okay with an old guy coming out winning. Next year a younger guy can win it which, following Hogan's win, would make him look pretty good... in WWE's warped way of thinking. Edited by T-Unit, Mar 8 2015, 01:58:29 PM.

Well if it does turn out to be filler, let's just hope it doesn't take up too much time from the other matches on the card. And I'm with you on the whole, ''not every old guy needs to be defeated to help a young guy'': but sadly that's probably the most logical option WWE have if Hogan does end up participating in the Battle Royal. Personally, I believe a superstar can easily look strong even if he's facing off against those in the current roster, it's just about how they're booked and whether they can win the crowd over with their abilities alone. Cesaro proved this last year... but WWE weren't consistent enough with him once Wrestlemania was over. |

Over time that moderate like/dislike will change. As Reigns gets more exposure to fans they will either like him more or hate him more. It took Cena a long time to get to his current level of polarization, Reigns is still too... new. Which is also the same reason he should not be main eventing anything other than Smackdown at this point in his career. It's not going to be a good main event for this mania and I didn't even touch Lesnar in this post, but that doesn't mean Reigns reactions will always be this mild, nor his career. It's a bad start that could well set him back further than accelerate him to where WWE wants him to go and it's all because WWE basically yanked him out of the womb at three months instead of waiting the full nine. |
