So rumour has it that Jericho will be hosting this Season's Tough Enough, which unsurprisingly now makes me want to watch it.

I wonder how difficult it was for them to not include 'more revealing attire'. |

Why isn't All of the Above an option? I can't pick because I think all should apply, aside the "more conservative attire" for obvious reasons. In seriousness, Diva's dress up however they want to. WWE doesn't make them dress the way they do. It's a natural thing for women to want to show their body off. |

I dont know about that. I would think there are powers backstage that tend to push them into wearing skimpier stuff. |

I personally don't feel that's the main reason why they do it. It's only natural for a lot of 'wrestlers' out there to wear these kinds of clothing, and it's usually to stop athletes from overheating during performances, whilst also preventing restriction that could be generated from certain movements unlike with regular clothing. That said, there are are some exceptions to the rule, but for the most part the talent on any roster will wear the same sort of stuff. It's pretty much been this way since the dawn of wrestling. Obviously there are other factors that also come into play; such as, the characters they're playing, and the uniforms that would best fit their persona. And I'm not trying to suggest there aren't people out there who enjoy showing the condition their bodies are in, but for the most part it's for the reasons mentioned in the previous paragraph. |

![]() Hokuto and Ozaki look plenty comfortable here, and compared to what the Divas wear, they may as well be wearing a burqa. The Divas have been sex appeal for decades. |

Of course they look comfortable in that picture, considering they're wearing exactly what was explained from my previous post. Most wrestlers wear attires that prevent their movements from becoming restricted. Whether male or female it's always been for the exact same purpose. What's sexist here is suggesting that only men can wear practically nothing but pants in the ring and then pretending that females only want to do it for sex appeal. Or that when a girl wears almost nothing it's suddenly an issue, even though most people are perfectly happy for men to perform with even less clothing. Perhaps from a company standpoint WWE are sexist when it comes to a woman's in-ring attire, but I've seen plenty of Japanese wrestlers wear similar clothing, with not a single person batting an eyelid. What's important here is that wrestlers are given the opportunity to wear what's comfortable for them. So if WWE were pushing the female roster to put on specific types of clothing for sex appeal, then I would most certainly have a massive problem with the way they're being treated. Chances are though that most of them would wear similar clothing anyway, because it's comfortable for when they want to perform in the ring. Let me put it like this, I have a bigger issue with equal rights in WWE than I do with what clothing the roster is wearing, because I know there's actually a reason as to why wrestlers perform this way. Now if you want to talk about the female division being given fair treatment in terms of shared time-slots, writing effort, and wages; then indeed I'd have quite a lot to say on the subject of sexism within the company. |

I'm sure there's someone here that would just prefer to have a WWE roster/management reboot with nothing but clones of Chris Jericho. |
