Recently I came across a box of wrestling DVDs I had stored away, and in it was the Attitude Era volume 1 set. I realized that despite purchasing it I had never actually watched it, so I decided to pop it in. On the second disc there's a 4 corners tag team match from Raw consisting of: New Age Outlaws, Mankind & Kane, The Rock & D'lo Brown, and the tag champs Austin & Taker. Overall the entire match is just a fun thing to watch. Everybody has a distinct personality and gimmick, and they get genuine reactions from the crowd because they're invested. King and JR were a fantastic announcing duo, and Steve Austin is just a ball of energy and does everything with so much intensity that he just commands your attention. I know its bad to bring up how good things were back in the day, but just a little consistency would help greatly. If Barrett continued to come out and deliver bad news and belittle the crowd, he'd grow each week and be a bigger heel than he already is. |

I think it's best if we just say that it was a false bill of goods because nothing about that "End of an Era" match turned out to be the End of an Era. Refunds have reached the statue of limitations. |

^I think he was implying it would be the last time you'd witness superstars from the Attitude Era (and years beforehand) having a match together. But even then it still doesn't make much sense. |
