Rollins debuts new finisher, Raised Concrete Ledge Stamp Barely a week after news leaked that he would discontinue use of his dreaded Curb Stomp maneuver, WWE Champion Seth Rollins unveiled a devastating new finisher called the Raised Concrete Ledge Stamp. At a non-televised WWE event (or “house show”) in Des Moines yesterday, Rollins delivered the new move to Heath Slater, driving the red-haired rocker’s skull into the mat with the sole of Rollins’ boot. Some fans in attendance pointed out that the maneuver bears some striking resemblances to the Curb Stomp, but Rollins insisted in a post-match interview that the two maneuvers “could not be more different.” “For starters, I use my left boot to deliver the Raised Concrete Ledge Stamp, not my right,” Rollins told longtime Pro Wrestling Illustrated columnist Matt Brock. While many fans and pundits believe the ever-duplicitous Rollins is merely repackaging the Curb Stomp with a new name — a lie befitting the dastardly villain — Rollins himself vehemently denies such accusations. “To the untrained eye of a stupid fan, it might look like a Curb Stomp,” he said. “But it’s actually an ingenious hybrid of the Road Lip Trample, which I learned in Japan, and the Mexican Sidewalk Edge Foot-Clobber. No more questions.” |

I was expecting Bret to just say it was a judgement error and not something he was offended by. Plus there was really no reason to put down Neville. |

I think it was JBL who made a comment saying that Neville was like Owen Hart, and then Booker said "Yeah but Owen couldn't defy gravity". Which I believe was meant as a way to make Neville stand out with all his high flying moves, not to mention Owen didn't do a lot of high flying moves. But with how Owen died, falling to his death, people took offense to it and thought it was a mean remark. |

Ah, I can see why there would be a lot of confusion over the way he worded his sentence on Raw. People need to understand that Booker T is not nearly clever enough to purposely come up with this kind of retort.

Some of Booker's best stuff is the result of him fucking up or mispronouncing something. If the comment was made about literally anyone else other than Owen it becomes a harmless comment. I dont see why Bret is so hard on Booker for this, its pretty obvious it was just a poor choice of words and nothing more. |

This is exactly why I'm able to give Booker T the benefit of the doubt, and also the reason I'm a lot more willing to listen to his 'work' over any other person on the Announce Team. He's pretty much the Sin Cara of commentary. Oh well, I guess for Bret Hart this just another excuse to give something that's WWE related a 4/10.
