MMA legend Don Frye was recently asked about CM Punk's chances of success inside the Octagon, and as always, ''The Predator'' had plenty to say.

''There is absolutely none,'' said Frye when talking about Punk's chances of succeeding in the UFC. ''They are going to feed him fish. They are going to hand pick an opponent for him so perfect that it will have all of the authenticity of a reality TV show.''

Frye continued, ''I think this sh*t cheapens the sport. Back when I did it, it was a fight and then it was a sport, now it's becoming sports entertainment. This cheapens everything that people who came before him did for twenty years.''

I don't even think Punk will have a bout. I want to say Punk signed with them for the money, but idk if he's even getting paid by UFC. The one thing that UFC will allow Punk to do that WWE didn't, is to go to all these convention type things where Punk gets paid 20 grand and they'll announce him as current UFC star.

Punk's a human advertisement and he's probably not even getting paid to by UFC to be one. Doesn't matter, Punk's making big $ anyway.

Matt Hardy's kid is actually New Jack's?
This kind of drama makes you wonder why there isn't a Maury Show - Celebrity Edition.

At the very least I think he'll have one. Just to say that he did it, as Batista did.

Obviously been really out of the loop lately, but WWE came around for a house show and Raw relatively nearby. I chose to go to the house show. Even though we very clearly got the "B" Team, it was still a very fun show. While it didn't do anything to get me to sign up for the WWE Network or start watching Raw and Smackdown again, it was still a lot of fun. Honestly, if WWE's TV operated more like house shows, I'd probably be a lot more interested.

I had more than a few beers, so there are probably going to be some things I miss in this relation.

I loved how very clearly generic the getting started messages from WWE were. Both Triple H and the Prime Time Players (in separate videos) were so very glad to come visit "our town" while never mentioning it by name. I don't mind the Trips one being generic, but the PTP are too busy to personalize it?

Opening match: PTP vs New Day for the tag team championships: The Prime Time Players are tag team champions? Dark days for the tag team division. However, they do make for a reasonable opening act. They have presence and charisma... even if they are still pretty terrible in the ring. New Day was represented by Big E and Consequences Creed (for the life of me, I can't remember what WWE calls him), with Kofi on the sidelines. Did WWE really think New Day was going to be a face team? They were fun antagonist and did a heck of a job working around the PTPs to make this a fun opener.

Bo Dallas vs Zack Ryder: Your basic Superstars match. Didn't overstay it's welcome. Bo's still Bolieving. Zack Ryder was moderately over, but WWE's pretty effectively buried him. How do you know this is a house show? Zack Ryder wins.

Luke Harper vs an Uso: I want to say Jimmy? I was probably Harper's biggest fan (although I did have competition from a guy sitting close enough to call for the Gator Roll and Harper refused. He would quickly bust it out later in the match). Very disappointed when the anonymous Uso won. Nothing special, but they hit a few nice moments that made this more interesting than the Ryder/Dallas match and your typical Superstars match.

R-Truth vs Mark Henry: It is such a shame Mark Henry didn't figure things out earlier in the game. He has a definite presence, but he's been around so long (that they've already successfully suckered us with a fake retirement) that WWE won't get behind him anymore (where when he was terrible WWE so desperately tried to make him something). R-Truth at least is able to actually identify and pronounce Macon. Henry wins an inoffensive match.

Ryback vs Big Show for the IC Title. I made my way to the merchandise booth at this point. I like Ryback and I respect Big Show, but I just had no desire to watch this one. Ending up getting a Kevin Owens shirt and mistakenly bought a colorful John Cena rally towel (it was advertised as a WWE rally towel, so I thought it would be a towel with WWE on it. Nope sky blue "Never get up." Well... now I have a piece of Cena merchandise. Got back in time to see all I needed to of the match. Ryback wins, but doesn't hit the Shellshock to do it, which would have been worthy of note. The match was probably fine, although we'd have hated to see it on TV.

Intermission: More Beer Time.

Women's match: Triple Threat with A Bella, a Funckadactyl and Paige. The laughable interactive option was to vote whether the extras (Snuka and the other Bella) got to be at ringside. This was my restroom break, which was way too crowded at intermission. I did get to see enough to see that the Divas are far more impressive in person than on TV.

Kevin Owens vs Don't call me "Adrian" Neville: If you tell me a few years ago that I was going to be buying a Kevin Owens t-shirt, I'd have probably responded in violence, but here we are. My first impression of KO when I saw him in the indies was that this fatty was horrible. I was way off on Harper, I may have been farther off on Owens. Overall another fun match from these two. A house show effort, as Neville didn't do as much flashy stuff as he would on a big payday. KO busted out Cena's moves which added to the match. Owens wins, I don't remember how exactly it was finished.

Main Event: Orton vs Sheamus: Best match of the night. These guys are good enough that this was probably a sleepwalking effort and it was still the best on the show. A far cry from their early efforts when I would be the one sleepwalking.

Again, we very clearly got the B Team. Originally, Ambrose was one of the marquee names, but that obviously changed after I bought the tickets. No Cena, no Rollins, no Ambrose, no Wyatt, no Reigns and very disappointingly no Rhodes, who I did think would make an appearance, as he usually gets a good reception in Georgia. The crowd seemed to reflect the B lineup as this was not a full house in what was not a big venue.

Fun night, but not going to bring me back into the fold of watching Raw (a house show a few years ago in Savannah did).

Looks like Survivor Series is going to be in Atlanta, though, even though it is the least of the Big 4, I expect to be there.

After a ton of speculation and different versions of the story from Dolph Ziggler himself, PWInsider.com is reporting that Ziggler has in fact signed a new WWE contract.

Ziggler is currently “out of action indefinitely” in the WWE storylines because he is traveling to Vancouver this week to star in a new WWE Studios film called “6:42.”

Ziggler’s character in the film is a cop named Ray Fitzpatrick, a man who has to overcome his past while dealing with a plot to blow up a child with a bomb strapped to their chest.

Filming for “6:42″ with Dolph Ziggler is scheduled to run for four weeks, which will put Ziggler back on WWE television around mid-August, in time for a match at this year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.

How does Detective Ziggles remove the bomb from the child which must be made by a group of villians called the Suicide Squad? He makes some calls and gathers the old team together.
