He may be a terrible wrestler, but Titus is a good person. That's something WWE needs right now and i envision PTP holding the tag titles while WWE uses Titus as a role model
I'll honestly say he's a better person than me. :baelish:

Film director John Carpenter, who famously worked with Roddy Piper in Piper’s biggest film success, “They Live,” spoke with the A.P.’s Dan Gelston about the passing of the late WWE legend.

“He was a great wrestler,” Carpenter said. “He was an underrated actor and just a marvelous entertainer and I feel like I’ve just lost one of my close friends… Roddy will always be loved because of his wrestling career. He really became a legend in pro wrestling. He will not be forgotten.”

Jonny Fairplay, who worked as Piper’s personal assistant in 2001, also commented in the piece about Piper’s passing.

“I would wake him up in the morning and yell at him from the door of his bedroom,” Fairplay said. “I’d say, ‘Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, the guy who never beat Hulk Hogan.’ Rowdy Piper should be remembered as the greatest bad guy of all time.”

NBC affiliate WNDU recently ran a piece featuring comments from “Cowboy” Bob Orton, who was a longtime friend and on-air partner of the late Roddy Piper’s.

“I had just talked to Roddy a couple of days before and he sounded great,” said Orton of Piper’s passing. “So yeah, at first you just don’t believe it. You have to let it sink in. It’s starting to now after what they just did out there and you realize you’re not going to see him again and it’s a shame. He’s going to be missed.”

Orton continued, “He could always make you laugh. No matter how you felt, how down you were, how much the road could get to you, he could always make you laugh. Just a great guy. Everybody loved him.”

I think WWE is going to be losing another legend before Summer ends. Death comes in three's.

I'm thinking Jim Neidhart. After seeing him on Total Divas, the guy is in really rough shape.

I'll one up you on this: I think Hulk Hogan. His birthday is next week, he's now a complete pariah, admits to contemplating suicide in his past, and people are more likely to die on their birthdays than any other day of the year.

The inevitable passing of Hulk Hogan is one I've wondered about for years now in how will the media react to it? Hogan is the most widely recognized professional wrestler ever and one of the biggest celebrities of the 1980's. Every media personality today knows of Hulk Hogan and more than likely, was a fan of his and watched him "wrestle" back in the day.

Certainly for a guy like Hogan, who was larger than life at the time, would be worthy of more than just a passing mention of his death, but I guess it will all come down to the manner in which he dies.

I hope he has time to repair his image before he moves on from this world.

I wonder how long Ryback will be out for. I bet they arent too thrilled with the idea of vacating 2 IC title reigns in a row.

I just saw that he had posted a photo of his knees and both were still pretty swollen. So he's still got some recovery time to go. They must be having a Z-Pak shortage or something.

Maybe to avoid such things, WWE should just scrap titles all together. Think about how titles are so representative of the barbaric days of professional wrestling and not sports entertainment.

ROH issued the following statement on Piper over the weekend:

We at Ring of Honor are extremely shocked and saddened at the sudden passing of the legendary “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

A true icon in professional wrestling, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper was a silent adviser to many, passing on his invaluable wisdom. An amazing man who will be missed by those who were lucky enough to work with or get to know him.

We extend our sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
Oh yes, it's true it's true!
