Mark Henry's 20+ run with WWE is winding down, with the former World Heavyweight Champion looking to retire shortly after WrestleMania 32. Henry says he was ready to retire back in 2013, but somehow Vince McMahon talked him into signing one last contract extension. Henry told Philly.com: ''I don't know how I let Vince [McMahon] convince me into signing another contract back in 2013. He did a bit of magic. He's got that magic where you just go in the office and he'll talk you into it. I won't be signing any more contracts… I'm 100 percent sure (this is my final contract). I'm leading toward WrestleMania and I'll have a little time after that, but that's going to be it for me. I'm an elder statesman. This is a young guy business and I'm 100 percent for it. I love the marketing process. I love the international marketing. I love the talent development, but those are all things I'll work with the company on to make sure that our business continues to thrive, but there's a bunch of other stuff that I plan on doing.'' |

Since Cena will be taking time off after the ppv, and with ratings being low and Vince freaking out, I wonder if they will do anything drastic and try something different to get someone to step up. |

I thought the same thing. Have him win the battle royal, he doesn't need a singles feud and I don't want to see him go out by losing a match, even though that's what his career was mostly used for: putting people over. |

The Courier has a new article up about former WWE performer Joanie “Chyna” Laurer’s trip to Scotland with the Scottish Wrestling Entertainment promotion back in August. Unfortunately, Chyna’s agent is claiming that she was not paid for her trip and as a result, the two are now threatening legal action. Several hundred fans reportedly showed up and waited in line to get autographs and pictures with Laurer, and then the former WWE star appeared in front of a crowd of about 1,300 fans at a SWE live event at Caird Hall in Dundee. According to SWE boss David Low, Chyna received payment through the autograph session she did. Chyna’s agent, Low, issued the following to The Courier, directed at Mr. Low: “Chyna did a show in Scotland at the end of August. We have not been paid yet. Unless, I hear from David Low as to when he is going to pay, we will need to file a lawsuit.” Low ended up responding with the following statement: “I’ve just opened the email and I just don’t understand. When we book wrestlers they either ask for a few or work towards that fee with autograph sessions. It’s how it works every year.
