According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Randy Orton's recent shoulder injury didn't happen in the ring, but instead occurred at home while taking out the garbage. He was said to be in a tremendous amount of pain and it took almost three hours to pop it back into place. Unfortunately this means Orton will be undergoing an MRI soon to determine the extent of the damage and whether or not it will require surgery. |

With Orton's injury you may see Cena come back early. I'd be surprised if he disappears until after TLC, in fact TLC is in Boston this year, so I don't think he'll be missing that ppv.Orton may be gone until the Rumble, maybe later. I don't even think there's a plan on whether he's going to get surgery or not. As for other guys, there's still Rollins, Sheamus, Reigns, Ambrose, and Wyatt. 4 out of 5 of those guys are the future, if they can't hold down the fort for 2-3 months, then WWE is in bigger trouble than everyone thinks. |

With the open challenge at the ppv now is the chance to send Ambrose out there to have a good match with Cena, then beat him cleanly for the title. There should be no way Cena retains if he is taking time off, so there's no one better than Directionless Dean. |
