I liked the Canadian Destroyer better when he did it while running. Looked more realistic. |

I will admit, that does flow a lot more naturally than how he usually does it. |

It is one of the dumbest looking submission finishers I've ever seen. It makes Cena's STF look almost painful. |

Yeah, shitty. When I first heard it was said to be minor and he could still work though the tour with it. If he does indeed drop it this kinda puts Roman on the fast track to winning it. Unless they throw money at Lesnar to work the tournament and win. Or it could be a swerve and Roman wins the tournament only for Seth to come out, miraculously healed, and face Roman in the final to win (retain?) the championship. |

WWE United States champion Alberto Del Rio had reportedly signed a $1.45M contract for his return with the company, but a WWE spokesperson recently commented to Wrestling Observer Live that the number is not accurate. Instead, they claim that the real number was “about one-third of that.” Contracts worth $1M per year or more are usually reserved only for WWE’s biggest stars. Konnan commented on Del Rio’s return on a recent edition of MLW Radio, corroborating the Wrestling Observer report by saying that Del Rio’s contract had a downside guarantee of about $450,000 per year. Konnan also mentioned that Del Rio is happy to be back in WWE, and the two sides had worked out whatever problems they had. Konnan mentioned that Del Rio is obligated to make at least two more appearances for AAA in Mexico. Although AAA is disappointed they are losing their champion, Del Rio is reportedly leaving the company on good terms. Wow, WWE's paying Del Rio a lot of money. It's not like Del Rio is a guy that has a broad appeal to the audience, so it's a little odd. His ring work is pretty good, but WWE always fucks up with his feuds and makes him bland. About the only reason I can think why WWE paid him so much is because they had next to no Mexican stars on the roster. I think the biggest, most Mexican wrestler they had before Del Rio came back was this guy: |
