It's already been booked - I got a great deal on Priceline!

So I'm meant to be appearing on Impact next week. TNA filmed a portion of Angle's visit to Leicester to be on the show, so if you see what appears to be the long lost member of the Wyatt family leaning up against a bar, that's me. |

Rumor turned out to be true. Later Cesaro. More proof that talent is being spread too thin. Tough loss for WWE in losing a talented guy to make others better around him. |

... So I'm sitting here thinking about the terrible state of the WWE, and the fact that they absolutely refuse to actually push anyone, even in these times where all of their top stars are out, and it hits me: Roman Reigns is going to win the Royal Rumble again. I mean, he has to, right? If not him, then who the fuck else? They're not pushing ANYONE else on the roster right now, no one but Roman. And coming off how SS ended, that's totally the story they're leading to, Roman's struggle to finally claim the title definitively at Wrestlemania. Thing is though, this'll not only make Roman a 2 time Rumble winner, but one of the even fewer to have won back to back Rumbles. AND main event Mania in back to back fashion. ALL, despite being genuinely one of the worst all around guys on the roster, and one who doesn't even get any kind of consistent reaction from the fans at all. This is just so fucking bizarre, and yet it's totally bound to happen, right? In fact, though he sure as shit wouldn't deserve it, he's likely to win Superstar of the Year again at that, isn't he? I'm already calling it, Sheamus beats Roman due to shenanigans at TLC, then loses the title to Cena at the Rumble, which Roman wins, setting up Roman vs. Cena at Mania. And it has to be that match, doesn't it? After all, there's no way Sheamus is holding onto the title til Mania, but then who else do you put in that big match spot to face Roman? Who else is even being set up for such a position? No one, is who. No one, except for a returning John Cena, who, can easily just be slipped right into that spot, that is. God I hope I'm wrong about all of this, but this is all just depressingly inevitable at this point, isn't it? What a fucking sorry state that WWE is in to literally CREATE such a shitty environment for themselves with their refusal to actually take some real chances on their ridiculously talented roster and actually PUSH people who are actually CAPABLE, but more importantly, OVER. Which Roman is fucking neither of these things. ... My only other random wrestling thought through all of this is that, assuming the rumors are true and that Daniel Bryan is healthy and just awaiting the right time to return, WWE have to be absolutely dip-shittingly retarded to even CONSIDER involving him in the Rumble in ANY capacity. Like, don't even fucking mention his name until AFTER the Rumble. Cause we all KNOW he sure as hell ain't gonna win it at this point, so why even stir up that shit stew again and make literally the EXACT. SAME. MISTAKE. A third year in a row. ... But of COURSE that's probably PRECISELY what the imbecile's running that company will do, isn't it? *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh*

Firstly, I think WWE is holding out on Bryan returning until after the Rumble. I'd be very surprised to see him return at the Rumble for the reasons you mentioned. Who knows, we might see Bryan down in NXT for a bit because he's been gone for so long he may need time getting back into the swing of things. Besides Roman and Cena winning the Rumble, I could see Lesnar being a guy to win it, but that's two years in a row Lesnar is in the main event of Mania and we all know Vince doesn't like going to the "well one too many times" because that was the reason why he kept Bryan out of the title picture earlier this year. I think the Mania match being set up right now for Reigns is with Triple H. Triple H wrestles at every Mania because of the paycheck; when you're the bosses son in law, you're gonna get favorable treatment and money opportunities. Without Reigns, Triple H doesn't have an opponent at Mania unless Vince is bat shit stupid enough to put him in a match with Lesnar again or worse, Undertaker. Let me list this out to make it a bit simpler. You have these guys who WILL be at Mania in high profile matches barring injury: Lesnar Reigns Cena Triple H Undertaker Orton (if healthy) So what do you do with them? Triple H is in one of two matches: Him vs Lesnar or him vs Reigns. If Reigns is in the title match, Trips is working Lesnar. Enjoy that. Undertaker can wrestle anybody and it will usually be decent. He just may do another match with Bray Wyatt, which would be horrible, but if Reigns isn't in a title match, imagine a match with him and Undertaker? Wasn't it Reigns who powerbombed him through the table on Smackdown from Wrestlemania week in 2013? There's your backstory for that feud. Roman beats Taker at Mania, becoming only the second person to ever do that, putting him on the same level as Lesnar... or at least that will be the story WWE sells us. Cena has been toned down the past few years at Mania, but Vince wants this Mania to break the records, so Cena will be doing something big. If he's not in the WWE title match, you have to put him in with another big name he's never faced before. There's a guy down in NXT right now, who is a heel, who has a lot of indie experience, and is from Samoa. Bring him up to screw Cena in that title match he has at the Royal Rumble. Lesnar is similar to Cena, but I think he should be the Rumble winner and beat the champ at Mania. Where WWE needs Lesnar most is the stuff between Mania and SummerSlam. They don't need him between the Rumble and Mania because that's WWE hot period for business, but Lesnar will be there anyway. WWE should not use Lesnar between September and January because they're going to get blown out by football and other tv even with Lesnar, so using him then is a waste of resources. Reigns. Reigns is such a toss up and obviously shouldn't even be considered in this small group of people who will be prominently featured at Mania. Reigns should be down the card building up XP, fans, etc. by wrestling for the US or IC titles. Reigns as US or IC champ isn't just good for Reigns, it's good for the titles and the mid-card. Vince clearly disagrees and has probably called JG Wentworth because he has Roman Reigns and he "needs him now!" TGM, if what you have plotted out as the story going forward, which I would say is a likely probability as you have a lot of creative writing experience, then Wrestlemania and possibly WWE are MEGA FUCKED. With this past Mania they had the bailout of Rollins cashing in to save us from the Lesnar-Reigns debacle, but they don't have that this year. I'd say that anybody other than Cena to work with Reigns in the title match is a disaster of biblical proportions in waiting. I can't say that Cena-Reigns would be a bad match because Cena's matches of late have been pretty good, but Cena-Reigns is NOT a match people want to see. At least, not us. The only possibly benefit of Cena-Reigns I see is the long anticipated, but long deliberated

He was released because he said some things that weren't PC/PG. That's the only reason you get fired from WWE today. Honestly, all the firings that have been handed down the last couple years have all been related to something said or something done on social media. |
