Just reread my review and noticed how I kept repeating myself throughout (Literally wrote it on the spot right after finishing Punk's DVD). Sorry about that, The_Dude. Thanks for reading anyway.

I wish WWE would pay the company that made those to make another half million of them. I'd buy a dozen for $15 easily. That's right, I'd spend nearly $200 bucks on paper thin sunglasses that would get me my ass kicked in a hipster bar. |

idk, it says that the material is of higher quality and the glasses better fitting. Is probably worth the $25 as I can assume that they were a limited run at the Chinese sweatshop. |

Ordered ''Kurt Angle: Champion'' and ''The Best of Samoa Joe: Unstoppable'' the other day, making this my first ever purchase of a TNA product(s). Both have been pretty well received and are considered two of TNA's finest DVD's to date (Though, I'm unsure as to what being a decent TNA product actually entails). They only just arrived this second, so I can't wait to see if they are worthy of the reception they have garnered.

There are a handful of decent TNA DVD's. Their Best of Tag Teams DVD had a ton of really good matches on it, and I also recall being impressed by the AJ Styles DVDs. |

Best of Joe is pretty damn great. It's TNA at it's best, for whatever that's worth. It gives you a little taste of TNA's best period (the summer of '05), captures Joe at his absolute best before TNA... TNAs him up and he gives up. You get appearances by some great wrestlers in addition to the usual suspects of Joe, AJ and Daniels. The Unbreakable 3-Way alone should justify your purpose. Unless I missed something (which I suppose is possible) this is unquestionably the best match in TNA history. Can't speak to the Angle DVD off the top of my head. Angle got off to a kind of slow start, IMO, in TNA, at least by Angle standards. If it covers too much of Angle's early days in TNA, it might not be as good as it could be. For all it's fault, TNA has always had enough talent to accumulate some strong matches and more than enough to put together some solid match compilations. The problems come with putting up with TNA on a week to week basis and their inability to allow their talent to show what it's capable of. |

As much as I don't like WWE's marketing and storylines interfering with wrestlers in ring abilities, I absolutely loathe how TNA puts gimmicks and angles ahead of the end result of what happens in the ring. Plus, Taz is like listening to Michael Cole on PCP in the Cole mine. |

Speaking of Uso's, they seem to be getting that major push, when are they getting their title shots? And they seem to be more of a factor in wwe than the tag team champs. |

Don't forget, Naomi benefits from this too! She'll actually be able to how off her talents. ![]()
The Usos are a utility team. When the Real Americans need a win, just have The Usos take the fall. Want to establish friction between Wyatt/Bryan? Have The Usos go over. And if you need a solid tag-team match to round out a card, inject The Usos into the match, and you pretty much have an entertaining affair on your hands. No matter their purpose, they've been on fire for all of 2013 and deserve a tag-team title run. I just don't if the WWE will allow them that honour when we teams composed of prominent singles talent still in the division. Edited by kkirbyyi_, Jan 18 2014, 12:10:30 PM.

The Uso's are the odd face team out. They could not be further from a tag team title shot than they are currently. |

Ted DiBiase said something interesting during a recent interview which I would like to highlight: Question: What is missing in today’s wrestling product? Answer: “…In my opinion, that’s the one thing today that’s really missing, and again, I’m not taking anything away from John Cena, Cena is a great guy, he is a consummate pro, he is one of the hardest working guys I have ever seen. But, it’s like every good run has it’s run and I think it’s run its course in terms of he has been there so long but what are they gonna replace him with? Where is that next bigger than life superstar? You had Hogan, then you had Austin, then you got the Rock, you had Shawn Michaels, but it’s like, where is that next star? That is the question that I’m asking…who is it gonna be?” Full interview (It's worth reading): http://www.sescoops.com/ted-dibiase-speaks-son-leaving-wwe-wwewcw-differences-wmania/ Thoughts? |
