No, I haven't heard this, but it wouldn't surprise me. Bryan's been perpetually injured going back to the Summer of 2014. Even when he was healed the first time around, WWE didn't seem keen on bringing him back, which with how the Rumble played out it probably would have been better if they did leave him out until after the event. Now, Bryan's been healthy from this concussion for months. Back in my day, concussions might have kept you out of any sporting activity for 2 weeks tops, but today concussions keep people out for months. WWE is overprotective with the concussions and they don't seem to have a desire to bring DB back in. I think if WWE won't let Bryan wrestle they should release him and Bryan can go to Lucha Underground or back to Ring of Honor. It sucks that Bryan's had injuries the last few years, but a lot of his absence is WWE's doing. In the almost 2 years Bryan's been out of action, at least 6 months of that time has been time WWE added on by not giving him a phone call to get him off the couch. |
