You know it really is an overreaction. Reprimand him in front of the roster, leave him off TV for a few weeks if you must, but to suspend him for 90 days is overkill. Dont people who violate the wellness policy get a 90 day suspension? |

If I remember correctly, Randy Orton only received 60 days after failing his drug test. Moral of the story: Think twice and take drugs before laying your hands on the boss. |

I think it's bullshit Titus being suspended. I don't know why he'd reach out and grab Vince to begin with, but I don't think in a company like WWE that it's something that should matter. It doesn't make sense that Kofi can wrestle Vince after Jericho told him to and got a push out of it, while Titus legitimately does something no one would notice unless it was blown out of proportion, which Vince and WWE have done a tremendous job of doing. This only goes to show that during a rare moment where WWE can come away with some good PR, they go and shoot themselves in the foot. Unless... WWE is using this as a means to get fans to stop talking about how great Bryan's speech was and focus on this asinine suspension. Wouldn't be the first time WWE's tried to bury Daniel Bryan and I have a feeling it won't be the last either. |

From what I know, no one's reached the third failure since this was implemented, but Umaga was fired after his second failure after he refused to go to rehab. |

Now the new report is that the suspension was done to send a message to the roster. WWE feels a lot of people have been goofing around too much and appearing unprofessional. So what Titus did was seen as the final straw and was suspended to give a warning to everyone else. |

Have they tried just asking people to act more professionally... or does WWE really have no clue how to make those types of logical decisions.

I watched all of that after Raw on Monday. It didn't seem like much. Didn't know who was grabbing Vince. Thought it was Mark Henry tbh. Is there a reason why Titus did it? I honestly believe Titus just wanted to get his attention out there, to briefly talk, because Vince is not accessible backstage to 95% of the roster. |

Not too long ago, I was talking about the camaraderie in the locker room was at an all-time high. I felt the wrestlers were getting along pretty well - shit like what Xavier is doing has been helping with that. And many of these people worked and lived together while in NXT. My interpretation of this harsh punishment is Vince and Co. feel like the locker room is having too much fun...or some shit... it's not like HBK was ever coked out while tasting Sunny Days on a Monday night in late 1997.

I'm hoping there's a photo or something that shows how Vince really reacted on stage. It all seemed rather playful... but again who knows why this all has been overblown? |

1. To make people forget about Daniel Bryan 2. To send a message to the rest of the roster not to touch God himself. 3. Because it was a black guy, this will give WWE publicity they desperately crave in this low ratings era they're in. What I want to know is why Al Sharpton, who's done stuff with WWE in the past, hasn't said anything about this yet. It would be great political ammunition to use against Donald Trump, who's close with WWE and already has been smeared as prejudice. Do I think any of what happened to Titus was because he's black? No, but WWE stepped in it big because the blacklivesmatter crowd is stronger today than ever and while I think WWE would do this to anybody not in the upper spectrum of the roster, suspending a black guy for longer than a drug violation is WWE just asking for bad press. It's just so fucking childish a suspension for grabbing Vince like he's a pure, untainted, holy being. But, I kind of expect a company as childish and spiteful as WWE to do something like this when Bryan's segment overshadowed the comapny and was seemingly going to do so for longer than WWE felt comfortable with. I dont agree with that. They wouldnt go to all that trouble on Raw with the career recaps, tweets from folks, news stations picking up the story, giving him the end of the show to speak his mind, and then on Smackdown to again show the tweets and recap his retirement speech. |
