Just found this shoot interview with Jesse Ventura on wrestling:

Interesting point, and I see the value in the backstage interviews and holding out on that confrontation, as he put it. Nowadays a lot of the backstage interviews are pointless. But I dont know if changing how interviews are done will have any effect on anything.
It's not just backstage interviews he mentioned, but promos as a whole. Everything is too scripted and I think a lot of it has to do with choosing who gets over and who doesn't. I don't think WWE wants people getting over without permission because it will mess up "plans."
Yeah? Well, fuck their plans!! #FUCKIT

Ring of Honor introduced a new stage and lighting rig on their latest episode (as can be viewed in the video below). Apparently they are planning to use this setup from here on out.

Oh yes, it's true it's true!

It's been stated on various websites that Jerry Lawler has received death threats for supporting Donald Trump.

Cesaro is currently in the Middle East doing promotional work for WWE. While doing the media rounds, he spoke with The National about his recovery from rotator cuff shoulder surgery, the reality of having to miss WrestleMania 32, Daniel Bryan’s retirement and more.

Less than 3 months after surgery, Cesaro says rehab is going well. Doctors told him he’ll be out 4-6 months, with six months being more likely. That will keep him out of action beyond WrestleMania, which he said is tough to deal with. The fan support he’s received over the past few months has helped him keep a positive mindset.

Regarding Daniel Bryan’s retirement, Cesaro said he was shocked at the news.

“I was hoping it was not true at first. It makes you very sad as Bryan was a good friend of mine. I have known him for over 10 years and you do not want to see that happen to one of your friends. But I am very happy he was able to kind of end it on his terms.”

Cesaro said he’s looking forward to working with AJ Styles when he gets back from injury and is not really interested in facing Brock Lesnar. He said, “I’d rather stand in the ring against someone who is with WWE the whole time.”

People forget that Japanese can have a mean streak.

Just ask the Chinese that survived Nanking.

Last night, Wrestling Twitter was abuzz over something that had been discovered when a fan was playing around with Google Translate. Apparently trying to figure out if there was some special meaning to Sami Zayn’s name (or more likely just playing around), someone translated “Sami Zayn” from English to Arabic. Remember, Rami Sebei, the man behind Sami Zayn, is of Syrian descent, so it’s not like this was the most random thing in the world. So then, when you translate the Arabic text back to English, it says…El Generico??!?!?

Clearly, there’s a big wrestling fan at the Google Translate team as no, that’s not any kind of real translation. Other machine translation sites, like the one on Bing, turn it into “Zain Sami,” and El Generico was, of course, Rami Sebei’s pre-WWE gimmick. Officially, though, they’re friends, as opposed to the Hideo Itami, Finn Balor, and Asuka treatment of acknowledging their past with different names.

It wouldn’t be a huge surprise if there were more wrestling relate Easter eggs like this within Google Translate, but since this one is so perfect, it may be best if they just stopped with this one. They can’t top it.

Watching the last Total Divas. They just got to the part where Nikki has the countdown to longest reigning Divas champion.
They turned down the boos in the crowd. TROLO
