What a weird poll, why are Bryan/Orton or Punk/Orton not options? Those are two of the more likely scenarios |

I think it's more a ''what would you like to see'' rather than a ''what do you think will happen'' kinda poll. |

Yeah but then why would something like Cena/Orton be on the poll? idk, to have that many options and then not list two of the more possible options doesn't make much sense to me Edited by JML, Jan 20 2014, 09:08:52 AM.

My Mini-Review on ''Kurt Angle: Champion'' (TNA Home Video) Kurt Angle has left a significant mark in both WWE and TNA, rightfully being hailed as one of the greatest pro-wrestlers in the world. When looking back at the accomplishments he has made and the career he followed, you begin to realize just how talented he was, but there’s more to this story than you might have known. This is where his DVD comes into play. It takes an in-depth look into his life, including the loss of family members he suffered when he needed them the most, mentors who have fallen, his addiction to pills to cope with pain, and making the choice to leave World Wrestling Entertainment in 2006. Kurt may not have had the easiest life, but he’s made the best of the hand that he was dealt, becoming one of the most well known and greatest wrestlers to ever grace the ring. The documentary featured in this set was one of the most surprisingly informative ones I've seen to date. And while it doesn't quite have the production values you might find in a typical WWE release, it did a stellar job of sucking you in whilst providing plenty of substance for its viewers. They went above and beyond to make this documentary worthwhile with comments from relevant TNA Wrestlers such as Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe (ect), and also featuring plenty of interviews with Kurt’s friends and family members. It seems TNA went to great lengths in order to attain interviews with most of these people, most of who were actually relevant to a lot of the subjects/topics brought up, further absorbing me into the story of Kurt Angle. The documentary covers each portion of Kurt Angle's life, such as his childhood, how he began his wrestling career, training, the Olympics, signing with World Wrestling Entertainment, and what lead to his decision to leave WWE to join TNA. Kurt Angle never once makes any snide comments regarding WWE, nor talks about his time with them too negatively, only discussing the decision he made to leave due to a strained relationship with Vince McMahon and injuries acquired while working with the company. It's not merely brushed over, neither. Each important juncture of his life gets the time and attention needed to make you understand what Kurt was going through at the time. Rather surprisingly, my only major issue with the DVD were the match selections. There are far too many encounters with Smaoa Joe featured in this set, and I think a little more variety would have improved the product somewhat. Not that any of these can be considered ''bad'' matches, but there were five bouts between Joe and Angle (Six if you count the KOTM match where Joe was one of Angles four opponents) thrown into this DVD. It would have been nice if there were some special features added into the mix as well, but despite the lack of extras and opponent variety, I would still consider this a quality Home Video. It may not quite reach the same standards set by other Home Releases out there (For example, CM Punk: Best in the World), but it still gets the job done and succeeds at what it set out to do -- bring to fruition Kurt Angle's story. It's rather unlikely WWE could do a better job themselves, so I highly recommend buying this DVD if you're interested in learning about the storied career of one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. |

Apparently, the reason why Dolph Ziggler hasn't been doing much as of late, was because of something he said during this interview: MLive.com September 4th, 2013: “I’ve made it clear; I’m not patient at all – several times. I’ve been very vocal about my position on the card and in the company. I’m not trying to say ‘Hey, everybody sucks and I’m great!’ But I love doing this, and at some point you go ‘OK, It’s not my time right now and I got to figure something out’ And when it’s time, that’s when I must go out there and make as huge of an impact as I can and let everyone know ‘I dare you to follow that, I dare you try something better.’ And when they don’t (counter or match what I’m doing in the ring) I’m very outspoken about it and it can get me into very hot water (with the company). Then you never know where we’re going. Everybody can be just so outspoken about taller guys, and guys like Randy Orton being the face of the WWE, the WWE Championship. I dare you to put me in a back alley with Randy Orton or someone like that. I guarantee I’m not afraid of someone taller.” Also, on an unrelated note: ''Jake Roberts has issued an apology to the Ultimate Warrior for some remarks he made about him during a recent interview. On the Busted Open radio show, Jake responded to The Ultimate Warrior entering the WWE Hall of Fame by saying: “I know, man! I know that [their careers can't be compared]. But maybe they’re taking in a**holes and not great talent. I don’t know.” Warrior fired back on Twitter, calling Jake a hypocrite and saying he instills horror and pity in people: ''Question for former talents now "hypocrite" born-again Christians. Where do we go to find you practicing the beliefs of Christianity? Hell?'' ''One a-hole instills honor and pride, The other horror and pity, One grows wise on great stories. One reads bathroom stalls and still grovels'' Now, Jake has responded, apologizing to Warrior and saying he wants to put the whole situation behind him.'' “My guys showed me Warrior’s tweets. I was trying to be entertaining with the radio show and took things too far, like I do too often. I have no business inferring anything negative about him. I apologize. He deserves the HOF and respect for what he accomplished in the business. But let me be clear. There is no hypocrisy here. I am not preaching anything. I am sharing my recovery path to show others what is possible. So no pity, bathrooms stalls or groveling. I am doing great. I am an addict and alcoholic working every single day to repair and make the best out of the life I have left. I make mistakes, like that comment, but my recovery has been amazing. Jim does not know this Jake. Without realizing or intending to, I fired the first shot and will take Jim’s response without any negativity towards him. I apologize and am putting behind me.” Source: http://www.sescoops.com/jake-roberts-apologizes-ultimate-warrior/ Thoughts? |

I'm aware of Dolph being in the doghouse, sucks that happened to him and it could be awhile before he is out of the doghouse completely. His recent concussion is another setback for him, but I'd like to see him feuding with Big E Langston in the near future. Jake made an excellent point saying Ultimate Warrior wasn't a great talent. Warrior was a flash in the pan, fortunate to capitalize on his short-lived tenure at the top. Unfortunately, he got greedy and bit off more than he could chew and soon enough The Ultimate Warrior mystique was no more. For two years in the early 90s he was right up there with Hogan but besides that he did little in his wrestling career. And I failed to mention the obvious steroid abuse. |

Batista's return made last Monday the most-watched RAW since March 4, 2013. This doesn't help my anticipation for the Royal Rumble match.
