You know how its common when a wrestler is gone for a bit and then they return they get an automatic cheer, even if they were a heel or a babyface when they left? Do you think its possible Roman gets that cheer when he returns? Or will the suspension only make people dislike him more? |

First off, this would have been a question worthy of its own thread. Roman will be booed upon his return because this isn't a freak injury that happened by accident, this was something Roman knew he did, he admitted that it was his fault and he was owning up to it. Basically this is like Hilary with the emails and the classified information, but instead of coming up with lie after lie, Roman didn't hide behind an excuse. I can respect Roman for coming clean, but I can't give him any sympathy for whatever it was he did and unless he tells us what it was, whether it was narcotics or a PED that made him look strong, he's not going to be cheered or forgiven. A lot of this comes down to the Wellness Policy itself and what is banned and what isn't; WWE keeps the Wellness Policy under wraps so tightly that nobody can really determine what it was that Roman did. My guess is it was Pot or Cocaine because Roman has been part of WWE for 4+ years now and this is his first suspension and that leads me to believe it was not something part of his fitness regiment. For a wrestler who has been pushed as hard as Roman has since his debut to do that shows a lack of dedication and this happens when he was under the most scrutiny from the fans makes it worse. No, he's getting booed because had any of the fans done what Roman had done and tested positive for it, they'd be fired from their jobs. I know if I snort a line or smoke a bowl and a week after I take a piss test for my job, I'm looking for new work. This is just sort of the way things are today with Hilary Clinton case in pint that justice really isn't blind and it depends on who you are that determines your level of punishment. It's not right, what Roman did was not right, and for him to come back at Battleground and Vince to make things business as usual and throw the strap right back on him would be an ABSOLUTE slap in the face to every fan and wrestler in WWE. If for any reason Roman has another title reign before this summer ends, I'm boycotting whatever show Roman ends up on and everyone should do the same. |
