I haven't seen Goldberg work a match since Wrestlemania 20, what do you think he'd look like in there with all that rust with Lazy Lesnar throwing a tantrum because his juice was taken away from him? |

I've never seen a 5 star Goldberg match anyway so expectations would be pretty low. But hey I'm not actually hoping for a match between the 2. |

Finn Balor was injured and had to relinquish the title? LOL, this is priceless. Raw is going to get so slaughtered in ratings come end of September. |

It is funny how no one has ever been injured by a Curb Stomp, but that gets banned while two guys have been seriously injured by the powerbomb, Rollins too if you think about the knee injury, yet that move is just fine. #BiPolarWWE |

A lot of people have been bringing this up since Balor's injury. I can only imagine the running powerbomb's days are numbered. It's a cool looking move, but not a necessary inclusion in Seth's repertoire, nor do I think its worth keeping around at this point anymore. Their inaugural Universal Champion had to relinquish the title after only a day due to the move, and Sting fucking retired from wrestling as a result of the injury sustained by that move. (Seth's injury to himself technically wasn't the same powerbomb, though. He injured himself doing a sunset flip powerbomb off the top rope. Still...) It's needlessly dangerous, and really just needs to go at this point. Like, considering the types of injuries we're seeing from it, I don't even want to see him do it anymore, it's just not worth it. As it concerns the curb stomp, have you heard Seth's explanation for that one being banned? Because the reason's honestly pretty solid, that its a stupidly easily mimicked move by kids and idiots trying it at home, and that people trying it at home are almost certainly going to hurt someone doing it, and so they couldn't have a top guy on the roster showcasing such a move that could create a PR disaster as a result. I'd love to see it come back, but there's almost no chance of that at this point. |

^Holy crap, Miz hasn't been this relevant in years! Now if only we could see that same kind of fiery passion emanate from him more often. Spoiler: click to toggle

To be fair, that wasn't much of a fair comment Bryan was making to Miz either. Especially in the current environment, where top guys are getting injured left and right, is it really fair to criticize someone for actually taking a safer, more toned down approach? I think that's the part that got to Miz, especially coming from someone who was so drastically the opposite that he had severely injured himself on multiple occasions immediately following huge company pushes as a result. Is Miz's style "cowardly", or is the alternative merely "stupid"? |

I thought it was pretty cool to see Miz show off some passion and backbone like that. I think they did genuinely insult one another and we saw something that was real, which is why I think Renee was told to try and cut Miz off and stop it. I think once Daniel walks away Miz loses his point a bit and maybe thinks he went a little further than he intended, but by then it was too late so he turns it into him being the greatest IC champ. |

I think the main difference was that what Daniel Bryan was saying felt like it was coming from a script, and I wouldn't be surprised if this ''lazy wrestler'' talk was something that WWE conjured up (it certainly seems that way from the videos that I've watched). Hence why, in contrast, The Miz's reaction and comments felt a little harsh, because I got the impression it was something that he made up right there on the spot. I do agree with what you're saying, though; in terms of whether or not it really is fair to criticise someone for taking a safer approach in the ring. I'm just not sure if what was said by Daniel Bryan happens to be his actual thoughts on the matter, or is merely something he was asked to say before they began working on these segments. It just seems odd for someone in his position to make negative comments about safety and the way other people wrestle - considering that was what lead to his retirement in the first place.

Holy fucking shit! What a fucking promo. If he was genuinely pissed off then i'm honestly not surprised he went all out the way he did there and if he wasn't, then fuck me he has some stellar charisma and acting to fool a lot of people into thinking he was. See it's this kind of shit that would want to make me watch Raw. But these promo's are few and far between and i cannot sit there and watch child's play on television in a sport like this because it's embarrassing. What The Miz did just there was even better than some of Heymans vocal intuitions and it's that kind of shit that would make me a fan of him if only he could go all the way and actually perform in the ring. This promo literally just put him on the map to be supported by a lot of people. I for one have just taken an interest into seeing what the aftermath of this might be. |
