Erick Rowan suffered a torn rotator cuff, so on the bright side he doesn't have to do the silly Orton/Bray feud anymore.
Makes room for Harper to return and he and Bray to be tag team championship contenders.
The talk was Harper would go to Raw when he returns, and for his sake I hope that doesn't change. Bray is a lost cause, he doesn't need to bring down Harper. Let Harper go to Raw and have an actual shot at doing something. I think the Smackdown title scene is going to slowly be built around American Alpha anyway.

Yeah, Bray is dead in the water. He started off so well too, but Creative didn't know how to proceed or build him into a bigger star.

It's looking like he and Cesaro will just get filed away as underutilized and underappreciated. Both guys could be bigger stars than they are, but for whatever reason they just get saddled with silly shit that brings them down.

I've oftened wondered why this is and after listening to Hardcore Holly's interview with Jason Solomon (which is up on youtube btw) I think he is dead on that WWE only allows you to get as big as they want you to. Vince isn't going to allow the Human Hindenburg Cesaro get bigger than Roman Reigns. Vince isn't going to let Bray Wyatt have a better gimmick, that's more powerful than Stephanie McMahon.

No, it's all about Vince being in control and when somebody gets over he didn't plan or want to get over, they get the Sandow Mandow treatment and if somebody Vince does want to get over, but is rejected by the crowd, he sends out legends, Hall of Famers, or other big names to cut promos and say, "OH, THIS GUY IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD, HE COULD HAVE BEAT SAVAGE, HOGAN, AUSTIN, ROCK, FLAIR, HBK, AND BRET HART ALL IN THEIR PRIME!"

It's easy to blame everything bad on Vince, but Vince does deserve the blame for having guys like Cesaro and Wyatt among other that have done nothing in years. Were Cesaro in New Japan, he would have won the IWGP title 3 times already.

Paige has been suspended by WWE after violating the company's Wellness Policy once again.

A brief statement from WWE.com reads:

“WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 60 days effective immediately, for her second violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”
Oh yes, it's true it's true!

Either Paige is trying to get released by violating the policy a third time or the Wellness Policy is seriously flawed. We don't know what Roman Reigns actually took, but there's been speculation that it was for Ritalin.

The Wellness Policy was created to catch people who were using drugs and steroids, not prescription pills.

The last thing I had read was that she needs neck surgery and was deciding between 2 options for surgery, but in the meantime has been taking painkillers. I don't know how the policy is structured it's said the painkillers are what brought the strike against her.

I'm sure the policy is trying to prevent painkiller abuse but damn what are these wrestlers supposed to do for pain management? DDP Yoga?

As reported earlier today, Paige has been suspended from WWE for 60 days due to her second violation of the talent wellness policy. Paige’s father Ricky Knight took to Facebook today and revealed that his daughter Paige was just suspended by WWE again for painkillers as she deals with a long-term neck injury. Knight says Paige was prescribed the pills.

He wrote:

“ok here we go again yes i know about my daughters suspended once again she has not failed a drugs test.

My daughter has had a long term neck injury which imo has not been dealt with. i have ask my daughter to return to UK For help with this injury as help and direction in the USA Has not been forthcoming imo. She has been in pain and out of in ring action for a fair while now and has been prescribed pain killers which apparently is against the wellness program. i feel my daughter has been let down big time in the USA and the proper care and advice needed in the position she has been in has not happened to say i am pissed off with the situation is an understatement, this is my statement i am not open to questions thank you for your cooperation.”

Paige’s mother Saraya Knight responded to Ricky’s post via her own Facebook page, noting that she wishes Paige would just come home.

She also wrote:

“sometimes letting out a scream just doesn’t sound loud enough, banging your head against a wall doesn’t reach the spot, closing down emotionally causes inner demons to surface, asking for help creates rumours, being in a sea of people but being alone, sometimes life just sucks…”

I agree and WWE has an absolute piss poor recent history dealing with wrestlers complaints about pain and not treating them, instead telling them it's nothing and booking them in more matches. It happened to Punk, it happened to Emma, and it's probably happened to others. It doesn't make any sense why the docs in WWE would ignore symptoms of pain and not send the person for tests and risk life changing injuries like paralysis.

If the docs in WWE are this worthless, why does WWE even bother paying them?

All year long the wellness policy has been suspect. Almost every claim has been due to paperwork not being properly filed, and not because of any actual drug or steroid abuse. So basically, people are being suspended and having their reputation publicly smeared because they're bad at filing paperwork.

Meanwhile, the one guy who actually DID get busted for steroids gets to get away with it scott free, because wellness policy doesn't apply for part timers apparently. Something just feels like they're using this wellness thing as an excuse to publicly shame and punish people at this point, and have forgotten the real reason why it was actually put into effect...
