So the rumor seems to be Dean Ambrose vs Shane Mcmahon for Wrestlemania. On paper that sounds like a wtf match that I have no interest in, but after thinking about it I would be okay with it if it happened. It probably would be some sort of No DQ/Extreme Rules match so Shane can do something wild and Dean could finally do something crazy that he wasn't able to do against Lesnar. |

I'm pretty sure assaulting a senior citizen is not allowed in PG WWE.  The only problem with Ambrose being a heel is that he'd have to be one of the top heels on Smackdown, meaning he'd have to go over nearly all the babyfaces on that show and there's three faces he's likely not gonna do that with: Cena, Orton, Wyatt. Beyond that, I think he would need a title run and that would mean taking the WWE title off AJ Styles, which would mean another feud with AJ in the future or AJ losing the belt to a transitional guy and Ambrose beating that other guy. In that train of thought, Ellsworth would actually be a good choice to beat AJ Styles for the WWE title and have Ambrose destroy him at the soonest opportunity. What I'd rather see happen though, is for all three of the Shield guys reunite because all three of them desperately need it. Rollins hasn't been the same since he returned from the knee, Roman hasn't held the same luster since the Wellness failure, and Dean hasn't been the same since the Shield broke up. I think they've got to go back to their roots and in such a way that they're allowed to go on both shows to show their dominance together. Problem with that is last time we saw the Shield, they were pretty much the most unstoppable force in WWE since the McMahon-Helmsley era and they'd need some sort of viable competition. To that, I'd ask would anybody be opposed to a faction consisting of Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, and Austin Aries to feud with the Shield? |
