I'm tired of hearing about what matches Shane is going to be in or do. I've had enough of hearing him be overhyped and put in matches that just aren't good. If there's any match that I do want to see Shane in, it's with Triple H. Make SummerSlam this year or Wrestlemania next year be a career match where the loser of the Shane vs HHH match never wrestles again.

The feud would be done then. There's no way you can pull out a storyline from 2014-2016 to build a Mania match in 2018. That's just pushing it so HHH can get his big paycheck for working Mania. They should have done the match at Survivor Series.

Slaughter is such a bad representation for the current product. Maybe he was promoting purposely bc his 2 fav wrestlers are RKo and Cena. He also said that is going to be the match at WM and did nothing to put over anyone except those two. Obviously, my rant would make better sense if I had it for you. It was terribly frustrating to listen to. EDIT: I found the link to it. I don't think anything will carry this Mania, which outside of Lesnar-Goldberg, has easily been the most foggy and unpredictable Mania I've ever seen. We're two months away and I can barely see what the card looked like a week ago. Now, with the Rumble and the Rollins injury, we're getting a clearer picture. I see no matches on this card that are going to elevate this Mania to anything special. Maybe Owens vs Jericho and maybe the women's title matches will deliver, but IDK. All I can say is unless we get Shane vs Triple H, forget about this Wrestlemania, it's dead on arrival.

Given that this is probably Goldberg's last run, they'll put the strap on him eventually, so why not do it for Mania to try and sell the match like it's a bigger deal. Also, given that there are already so many matches set this year, they need to make room so making this a title match means you don't have to build one between Owens and someone else or take the belt off Owens and take whoever the new champ would be and his opponent. Having said all that, I think this Wrestlemania may be the best time to start that Rock vs Brock rematch. Get it going now and you can have the rematch at SummerSlam. * WWE Championship: Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton With Orton winning, this seems to be the match WWE wants. I think there's some potential that Cena will be involved in a triple threat tho. * RAW Women’s Championship: Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax Another multi-woman match at Mania? This is obviously to delay the Bayley title win. * Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker Fuck this. * Seth Rollins vs. Triple H Pretty much dead unless Rollins is okay to go for Mania and Mania only. Gonna be really, REALLY tough to build this match if Rollins can't get physical. If Rollins can't go, I guess it will be Ambrose vs Triple H or, if he's healthy, Balor vs Triple H. Worst case, Mick Foley can pull out the Cactus Jack gear and yell "BANG BANG!" in a crowded building, which may not go over to well given what happened in Orlando last Summer. * Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho I assume this will be for the US Title? I hate to see this pair break up, but to put them on the card together for this Mania, if given the time, they'll steal the show, if not, the Pre-Show * AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon Literally makes no sense, which makes me believe this will also happen. Instead of Shane tho, could there be some storyline deal that Shane makes with William Regal so it can be Nakamura vs Styles instead? In return, NXT gets The Miz for a few months. * John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse Hard to see this happening. Maryse hasn't done any wrestling since she came back, WWE doesn't like to show Nikki and Cena in the same frame on TV, Cena may still be involved in the title. This one is out there, more so than Goldberg and Lesnar for the title. * The Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal This is a done deal. * Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Baron Corbin is my pick to repeat.
