But seriously, I know I miss most of the PPV's anyways, but I usually try to find a way to see Mania at least. If Lesnar/Goldberg winds up being for the title, though, I will explicitly skip that shit entirely.

^ I have the same feeling. AJ Styles will be put into another mid card filler match at Mania, not that his match with Jericho last year was bad or he should have been booked into a more meaningful spot on the card, but after what AJ Styles has done for WWE since last year's Mania, he deserves a title match or other higher profile match. In that event, why does it have to be Roman Reigns that gets Undertaker and not AJ Styles? I know Taker is getting old and that fact alone is a large reason why I'm so disinterested in a potential match between him and Roman, but I figure AJ is that damn good he could get a fair match out of the Undertaker, let alone have a great build up to Mania. If anything, Styles could make the Undertaker ditch the Deadman gimmick and join the Club as American Bad Ass Undertaker and they, along with Baron Corbin, could become the Biker Club. |

Considering for awhile there was ideas for AJ and Undertaker at the Royal Rumble, which I thought would have been fun to see, I also don't see why they're skipping it for Mania. Oh wait, it's so Roman can have a "main event" match for the show. |

That's right, some rumors about Taker winning and having a title match with John Cena at Mania. Yeah, that's just so much worse than having Cena in a match with the Miz, Taker neutering the Big Dawg, and having Orton and Wyatt for the title. Idk, maybe if we hope and pray a lot, Roman will get hurt soon. I just think the Biker Club idea would be cool and be a more sensible gimmick for the Undertaker to end his career on. I got more bad news for ya. There's a rumor going around that if Cena and Nikki do a mixed tag with Miz and Maryse, it's going to lead to Cena proposing marriage to Nikki Bella. Yeah, they're doing the match to have Cena propose and use it in the Total Bellas show.

Yes, but it makes sense. Vince seems to always have Triple H wrestle at Mania, probably to give him a big paycheck to help support the grandkids. Triple H is GOING to have a match at Mania, that's fact, I try and think of who he can work a match with that wouldn't be a bore and Shane is the answer. Alternatively, The Rock. Yes, another Solomonster idea, but it seemed like we were going to get Rock vs Triple H at some point two years ago, but it never happened and it's probably never going to happen. After those two, I would say AJ Styles. Of course, that would require Styles turn face to do and I'm not supportive of that idea, so that's probably not going to happen, even though it'd be a good match. Actually, I have an idea now: Make it a tag team match with Triple H and Samoa Joe vs Shane McMahon and AJ Styles. Have Styles abandon Shane to get his ass kicked and Styles stays heel and that starts a feud between him and Shane and you use that to build up to Brooklyn Street Fight at SummerSlam. |

I think if Roman Reigns turns heel, we might actually witness a real "New Era" of WWE. I think Reigns being so pissed off with how he's been booked and how the fans boo him would be allowed to let it all out and make for a really exciting heel to listen to, a lot like the Rock, who was more entertaining and charismatic. So, if Reigns is going to play the Rock role, then someone's gotta be Steve Austin and I think the only guy that could pull that off right now is Samoa Joe. The lead in to Mania isn't going to be good, but I think after Mania, if Vince finally comes to his senses, Raw is going to get good again. Then again, Vince's senses fail often, so I wouldn't be surprised if he just books Reigns to beat Taker, have Taker raise his arm, and give him the keys to his Harley and Roman's new entrance will be riding to the ring on a motorcycle with the urn being used in the ring corner as a spittoon. |
