Rumors are circulating that Lesnar and Jinder Mahal will have a singles match at Survivor Series. IDK what the fucking point would be for this other than to bore the shit out of the audience and possibly get Lesnar booed. |

Had a dream last night where Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were competing in an eating competition hosted by Bray Wyatt, who's inclusion was completely random, and who also immediately disappeared from the dream right after everyone entered. But anyways, before the contest got underway, Roman tried to spout out a few one-liners, only for the audience to respond with dead silence, all except for me, who just said, "... awkward." But then the eating contest never actually happened, because Seth Rollins got up and left, and he decided to like start stealing people's cars in mass, all the while shouting inappropriate 9/11 jokes and doing that smarmy heel laugh that he does. So yeah, it was a weird dream, you guys. o.O |

Oh dude, I've had much weirder wrestling dreams. Once I was dreaming that I was grocery shopping and Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross and somehow myself were on commentary calling the exciting grocery shopping action. There comes a point where somebody dropped a jar of pickles and the jar broke and pickles went everywhere, to which Jerry Lawler screamed, "ALL THE PROSTATES ARE GONE!" and I replied, "Well, all except the great Mr. McMahon's." Then I have a re-occurring dream where Bubba Ray Dudley takes a big bump, like a powerbomb or a suplex, and he forgets to sell the move and gets right back up on his feet and his opponent who just hit the move on him stands there with this WTF look on his face. So Bubba has this, "Oh shit, I was supposed to sell that." look on his face and then he sells like an invisible man just kicked him in the balls and drops back down on to the mat. |

Sports Illustrated of all sites had an article on the whole Neville situation. Linky Basically he was upset with how he was being used and viewed by those backstage. Also, Austin Aries has made more on the independent scene than Neville will in WWE and with less travel. I understand Neville's desire to leave and make more money for himself, and at the end of the day they're independent contractors so they should have the right to do so, but from a business standpoint it's going to look bad if they just let Neville go to do his own thing. How many others will explore that same option then? |

Cody Rhodes may well have set a precedent for these guys to look at other options outside of WWE, especially if they think they can be treated better while still making good money. Sure, they might not get the same mainstream attention elsewhere that they would in WWE, but that's replaced by a more peaceful frame of mind, and if enough guys being mistreated really explore these options, then WWE might be forced to actually enact some change in the way they utilize their roster. 'Course, what am I even saying? Obviously this is just wishful thinking on my end.

I think it's going to happen more in the future. Times have changed and thanks to the internet promoting an indie show with hot former WWE stars can draw an audience that makes good money and instead of having to be stuck with awful writing, pre-show ppv matches, the world tours, Live shows every week, and all the traveling sometimes the money isn't worth it even if it is more. I think so long as guys who aren't being booked well and hate losing out on money from the shit booking and product WWE is putting out can make $500-1000 a night, they'll continue to leave WWE in droves. Much more time at home doing whatever their other hobbies are and still making 100 grand a year appeals to me, more so than a shitty job where I never have any personal time and get $300 grand a year. |

There have also been rumors that some stars that went unnamed have reached out to Cody Rhodes asking him how to go about getting their release, what kind of documents they need etc. It could be an interesting time. |

It appears Fromage's favourite wrestler has called out WWE on social media for running their shows in conjunction with other indie events. [twitter=https://twitter.com/RealJackSwagger/status/921094122475261952] [twitter=https://twitter.com/RealJackSwagger/status/921094967266856960] |

Not trying to pull a Harvey Weinstein here, but I was in the shower and was thinking: Miz really has improved and he should have a WWE title run or something. I know the probelm with Miz and a main title reign is it brings back horrible memories of Wrestlemania 27, but that was a long time ago and Miz is a totally different character and he's a hella lot better promo now than then. While Miz makes the IC title a bigger deal than anyone else has since I'd say Bryan won it at Mania years ago, the guys he works with are Jason Jordan types. To me, the IC title shouldn't be the title that builds up new talent who are basically low card development acts. IMO, the IC title should be the title for main event types who just aren't in the main title picture, so that would be guys like Rollins, Styles, Owens, Orton, etc. Putting those guys into IC/US title feuds gives them matches that mean something and not stupid fucking bullshit like Demon Balor vs Sister Abigail or feuds that eat up time on Raw/SD but come ppv are 10 second squashes like Orton and Rusev. And so with that thought, I think it's time WWE brought back a bottom tier championship. No, not one for each show, I think that would be overkill. Since we saw Styles at a Raw ppv, its obvious that this brand split is more like a paper cut and not a laceration, so have this bottom level guy defend the title on both shows. Basically, I say it's time to bring back the European title and make a stipulation that only wrestlers who have been on Raw/SD for less than 2 years are eligible to challenge for the championship and call it something like the WWE Junior Heavyweight Championship. That way the writers have to move these guys on from the title and makes way for other relatively new wrestlers and you leave the US and IC titles on major guys that can raise the status of the title and at times, drop the belt to one of the "New" guys who have clearly demonstrated during their time as Junior Heavyweight Champion that they're a future main event star on the rise and you have them work matches against guys that have fallen off the main event level so they continue to improve. |

Let's think who else has Reigns been in contact with the past few weeks: Braun who has been in contact with Miz Sheamus Kane Cesaro Seth Dean Kurt Angle So potentially, every main event player on Raw right now could contract an illness and miss a few weeks. Of course this is a worse case situation. I'm sure more people will be getting diagnosed with an illness after symptoms show up. |

I'm just not sure if adding another championship title is the way to go. They already clearly don't utilize their current titles all that well so the idea of a new one doesn't exactly fill me with hope. I mentioned elsewhere that Miz is a bit above needing the IC title, especially since his latest feuds don't even have the IC title as a focus. I understand it would give the upper card guys who are not really in the world championship picture something to do but it would help if they had meaningful feuds instead (looking at you Finn and Bray). I do like the idea of a travelling champion but that could be done with the current titles I think. Then have a ranking system for when someone is eligible to challenge for the title. |

I'm honestly surprised Kane's sticking around for the time being. Sorta figured the PPV would be a one-off, and then he'd go off and continue campaigning. Just seems odd that he'd return when he's trying to run for office, 'cause I can't imagine this really helps his image much, particularly not at the present moment. Sure, it's one thing to have wrestling in your past, but to be a present competitor, and with a gimmick like his at that? Yeah, don't see that really convincing people to take you seriously. It almost feels as if WWE called him back just to sabotage his endeavors, knowing that Kane's precisely the sort of company man who just can't say no. |

That's why he wears a mask so people don't know he's actually Glen Jacobs. I'm guessing he's pretty confident with his chances if he's willing to do a short run rather than focusing solely on his campaign. |

Election day isn't until November next year and most people at the end of the year are focused on holidays, football, their week vacation between Xmas and New Years. So Glen Jacobs isn't losing anything in the campaign because there is little one can gain campaigning in Nov-Dec. |

Well that settles that. The only thing Kane will lose is a match to Braun Strowman. |
