I'd like to think that Balor losing to Kane should at least set him up for a rematch as The Demon to get his win back, right? But then, when would that match even happen? :aries:

That depends on if Finn still has a date with Sister Abigail or if that gets completely swept under the rug. :argh:

It's not like Finn Balor is high up on the importance list for Vince given he's on the same show as Brock, Roman, Braun, etc. He's been stuck in that feud with Bray for so long now and I fully expect them to go right back to it as soon as Bray is medically cleared and that'll be the last feud of the year for Balor. Once he's done with Bray, idk what you do with Finn after that other than have him challenge Miz for the IC title.

It's pointless to have Finn and Brock do a match. If Finn couldn't beat Kane, who won't beat Braun, who couldn't beat Brock, then how does one look at that matchup and have any belief that Finn can win? Oh, he's gonna do Demon Balor against Brock? That's just wasting the Demon gimmick on Brock who you know will still win.

I'd keep Finn far as fuck away from Brock. Put Cesaro in with Lesnar at the Rumble, everybody has been wanting to see that for years.

It looks like Balor would really benefit to being moved to Smackdown.

Give him the ol' Nakamura and Rusev push. I like it.

Jinder's not going to be champion for much longer. I've heard that he may hold the belt until Mania, but I think once the tour in India is over and Vince realizes having a Canadian of Indian ancestry isn't a draw, he's going to pull the title off him fast. If Balor gets moved to SD, either he or Nakamura will get the title.

I actually prefer the idea of a Balor vs Nakamura Mania match to a Nakamura and AJ Styles match. Styles you can put in a match with anybody and it will be good, Nakamura tho has shown if he's in there with a Jinder type doesn't look good. Put him with Balor and they're bound to have a great match, which Nakamura desperately needs because he hasn't had a good one since he beat Cena.

I remember this match more because it was Vince's last match that he ever wrestled and because this was also the Raw that Punk punched a fan when he was up in the crowd, but now that I just re-watched it I didn't remember that the crowds were this hot at the time. Now granted, they were watching Punk, who was super over at the time, and Vince, who always gets a pop, and I guess Ryback at this time was at his peak position on the card and he was over too.

Man, looking back, 2012 was a great time for WWE.

And Paul Heyman, who looks about 40 pounds lighter than he does today.

I suppose that all her claims about being underutilized were her legit gripes and this is more of a mutual release. Shame that she's gone but I don't care about the other 2.

I've heard that there were a lot of people who soured on Emma after she couldn't do the Emmalina gimmick to their liking. Sounds petty, but WWE is the pettiest of companies and I have no doubts that that was the reason she was such a rarity to see on TV. I do agree that the release is likely mutual and Emma has more than enough reasons as to why she wanted out.

I think she'll do just fine if she decides to go to Japan or stays around the US doing indie shows.

Former WCW President Eric Bischoff was recently a guest on the All Things Wrestling Radio podcast, where they discussed a number of topics, including what his thoughts were on WWE. Here are some highlights:

The need to define Roman Reigns as a babyface or heel:

“You have to make a choice and you have to commit to a character. You’re either a babyface or a character that the fans relate to, support, love and aspire to be, or you’re not. And if you’re not, you’re heel, you’re despicable and they need to learn to love to hate you. And I think when you take that safe road in-between and let the fans decide… to me, it’s a cop-out.

To me, that’s kind of like raising your hands and saying, ‘Look, I’ve got ideas. I really don’t have a plan, so let’s just put him out there and let the fans choose.’ I think that’s just the most cowardly creative cop-out that I’ve ever heard.”

WWE producing too much programming:

“It’s kind of like football… there’s just too damn much of it. It’s all day Sunday, it’s Monday Night Football, it’s Thursday Night Football… there's just so much of it that none of it feels special anymore and I think that’s really acute when it comes to sports entertainment and professional wrestling…

I used to produce three hours of Nitro, so I know what kind of monster that is. I would think that it’s harder to watch three hours of content than it is to produce it.”

The sad thing about WWE today is that I like most of the wrestlers, except Brock, Bray Wyatt, and Balor. What i hate and am so disappointed in is the way Vince uses them. Gallows and Anderson in a fucking Halloween themed hardcore match that involves putting jack-o-lanterns over guys heads, who then have to hold them on so they don't fall off, is screaming waste of talent.

Asuka getting her ass kicked last week by Emma is a waste of talent.

Nakamura jobbing to Jinder May Halll is a waste of talent.

Roman Reigns not being turned into and overt heel is a waste of talent.

Like TGM said before, it's all just such a waste because there's never been a more talented group of wrestlers who are a spark away from catching fire.

Speaking of wastes of talent the new rumor is that they are eyeing Hideo Itami to be added to the cruiserweight division.

Perhaps making guys feel undervalued and like they have to walk out is easier than just letting their contracts expire.

Scrap the cruiserweight division, and scrap 205 Live. I was already never a fan of this revival from the beginning, and its clear that not even the guys on the roster are a fan of it at this point, either. It singles them out as definitive "lesser thans".

I think the problem with the Crusierweights has been that they've been stuck wrestling each other for over a year now and their feuds and characters are all stuck in this bubble of 205 pounds. I want to see Drew Gulak do his schtick against guys like Elias, I want to see Rich Swann and Cedric Alexander wrestling the Usos for the tag titles.

If WWE wants an hour show featuring just Crusierweights, that's fine, but when they're on Raw or SD they should get in the ring with the big boys and compete for the other titles too. Just keep it like the Crusierweight title was back in the early 00's so that only guys who meet the weight limit can challenge for the title.

Yeah I guess that would be fine. It would certainly help make them not feel like an isolated group but an actual part of the roster.
