For the time being, the Majaraja is not WWE champion, but I don't see AJ holding the title for long. Call it intuition, I just don't think he's going to have it until Mania. I think it's entirely possible that Jinder wins the title back on the Smackdown following Survivor Series or the ppv in December or this upcoming tour of India. It'll be a gurantee Jinder gets the title back if for no reason at all, WWE decides to broadcast on the Network live the show where he will inevitably have a title match with Styles on the India tour.

Whether it's Jinder or Styles, I see them being set up to fall to Cena at the Rumble. Yes, the same Rumble I predict Roman Reigns is going to win will be the same show John Felix Anthony Cena wins title number 17 to break Flair's fake WWE record of title reigns.

Is this seen as a bad thing? At this point I don't really care if Cena does it. I don't view it as sacrilegious or an insult to Flair.

It's not, it's just that WWE will make a big deal of it and the Philly crowd will shit on it, just like they will when Roman wins the Rumble. It's the surest way to sabotage the Rumble ppv again to generate controversy.

And I don't care about the Rumble match anymore, WWE's killed it, so there's very little WWE can do to piss me off with that.

About time. Ellsworth should have been gone a year ago.
Says the guy who felt he should have defeated AJ Styles and won the WWE Championship.

The whole Ellsworth thing had run it's course. His face stuff got old fast but it was nice when he did a heel turn to do something different. But Carmella has surpassed the need for him and so he's now expendable. I'm sure he's got some great memories from a job he was never supposed to have, and his time with WWE will increase his booking fee on the independents so he's set. Not too shabby for someone that was hired because he was funny looking.

Chris Jericho recently had an interview with Viktre.com during which he revealed the sad story behind his first WWE title win. According to Jericho, not only there was no celebration after his victory but he had to spend the night alone in his hotel room eating a cold and fuzzy pizza:

“I was told in the afternoon that I was going to win when Vince McMahon said to The Undertaker at the catering table: ‘Hey ‘Taker, how do you know the business is going down the toilet? Because we’re putting the belt on Jericho’ and that’s how I found out I was going to be the champion, I came back through the curtain, everyone was gone because when you’re on last everybody leaves to get out of the traffic quicker. Sat there by myself and then drove to a hotel where room service stopped at midnight, it was 11:58. They wouldn’t serve it, so I got pizza. They wouldn’t bring it to my room, so I had to go down to the lobby to get it. When I went back up, I was locked out. Went back down to the lobby, the guy wouldn’t let me in even though I just checked in a few minutes earlier. Dropped the pizza on the floor when he finally did let me in. So, I spent the night being the first undisputed champion eating cold, fuzzy pizza in a Ramada Inn somewhere in Anaheim, California.”

I don't see how WWE can fuck up the Rumble next year. The first two years the fans resented that Bryan wasn't in it or didn't win it, and last year it was Roman coming out in the last spot and Orton's win being spoiled.

The only way I see WWE fucking up the Rumble is if Cena wins by last eliminating Shinsuke Nakamura. Unlike the Universal title on Raw, we don't really have a clear picture as to who is going into Mania the WWE champ and who's challenging for it. I do think that Styles is going to be in the match because I can't see him doing anything else at Mania. The question is if Cena is going to be involved or not. Given that it's Wrestlemania he will be on the card, but I don't see how they can keep Shinsuke out of a major feud like that for long.

Idk, maybe it ought to be a triple threat match with Cena and Styles and Nakamura.

Oh, I'm sure they'll find some way to mess it up.

So what the hell is the deal with them doing the exact same angle with the women on both brands at the exact same time? :?

It's weird, isn't it? Especially with how similar both groups are in that the leader is a black haired pale woman, there's a brunette that's regarded as the muscle and then a blonde woman. It comes across as lazy.

But there are rumors of doing a women's royal rumble so it's possible this is a way of getting 6 new women on the roster and establishing them, since when on the main roster anyone's time in NXT is largely ignored.

They couldn't think of any other way to bring up three other girls and book them well enough to make people pay attention. It is lazy, but I think eventually Absolution and Riot Squad will be wrestling each other in 6 person tags like the Shield and Wyatt Family once did... many moons ago.

I think it was a mistake not to bring up Peyton Royce and Billy Kay instead as I really don't see anything more that they can do in NXT.

That's probably the reason why the five girls got sent to WWE: if on Raw/SD everything the NXT callups do while in NXT is forgotten, there's no real reason to keep them floundering about down in Florida when they can be used to make Charlotte or Asuka look strong.

I really miss this Paul Heyman. Not saying the Paul Heyman we have today is bad, but he's not the same when he's not the slimy heel manager or without the ponytail. Also, notice how much less he weighs here?
