I've read a few as well, but I also read one that said Bryan turned down a proposed match idea. The reason was the match wouldn't have him do much wrestling and he wouldn't take any bumps, which isn't what Bryan is looking for so he said no to it. So who knows. |

Bryan wants to wrestle, he wants to bump. Being some guy on TV cutting scripted dialogue is something he can do as a smaller part of his job, but what he really wants to do is be in the ring. WWE is in total resistance to that under their watch, but they don't want him to leave because he'll bring attention and viewers to another promotion and if there's one thing Vince absolutely cannot stand it's competition. Even tho competition is what saved his company and made him a billionaire. Whatever, Vince has always been a basket case. I think Bryan is bound and determined to leave WWE if they don't give him a new contract that allows him to wrestle. Unlike other WWE wrestlers *cough* Ziggler *cough* Bryan isn't afraid to leave to get what he wants. I don't see WWE sticking their necks out to let one guy do what he wants. Bryan is New Japan and ROH bound in 2019, but I think if WWE throws enough money at Bryan to do some sort of match at Mania, even if it's just him doing a Yes Lock, Bryan is going to take the money, play nice until the end of his contract, then say "See Ya!" |

It's actually a very good sign that WWE cleared Daniel Bryan to wrestle again. He made it pretty clear that it was his intention to wrestle outside of WWE when his contract ended because they wouldn't clear him, and you can't really blame WWE because even if there was a small chance that he could suffer serious damage they didn't want to take that risk and have that come back to bite them. They were looking at their best interest but it also focused on Bryan's health. So they stood firm that their medical staff had to clear him and now that they have that must mean that whatever Bryan has been doing to improve his health has had a positive effect, which is good for him and others in any sport that have suffered similar injuries. |

I'm stoked that Brian was cleared but........... either on Total Bellas or Total Divas (can't remember which). Brian's head would continue to bother him bad enough that he could leave the house. This was more than 6-8 months after his last match. Apparently that must have healed? |
