Idk what to make of these shows in Saudi Arabia. One one hand they were kind of fucked up with how the Superstar Shake Up happened a week before and limited the booking they could do, but on the other hand I feel that WWE really didn't want to do much anyway given that these were not standard Sunday night ppv shows. Also, the novelty of a show in Saudi Arabia wore after after this one show. It in no way feels special to me other than that WWE used pyro and had what was basically a production of an International Wrestlemania type show. They've also fucked Backlash too because all the television the past few weeks has been built around the Shake Up and this Arabia show, now they've got one week to build to Backlash. |

Here's just a stupid promo I came up with if I were in a feud with Brock Lesnar for the Universal title. *T-Unit and Brock are attending a press conference being hosted by Vince McMahon for the upcoming title match at SummerSlam* Vince: Here they are! "THE BEAST" BROCK LESNAR AND "THE TERROR" T-UNIT! *cameras flash as the two opponents stare at each other face to face, Brock standing 6' 3" and T-Unit at 5' 11"* Vince: This is going to be a clash of colossal consequences! Now gentleman, if you would take your seats I'd like to start of with T-Unit. Terror, what is it you seek to accomplish? Why are you here? T-Unit: That's a dumb question, but I'll answer it: because I want to be here. I want to be here because the world needs to know that even a Beast can feel fear, feel terror within his own heart. Brock is here because he wants money, Brock has a wife, he's got kids, he loves that money, he's got something to live for. I don't. I live for pain, I live to kill, I live to be killed. This "Beast" on stage with me here is only a Beast as far as society allows him to be. At the first sign of rejection, the "Beast" runs away to some other place where he feels safe and gets paid more money. I'm not here for money, I'm here for pleasure and my pleasure is pain. Not to prove that I'm a tough guy or the best at something, just simple sadistic masochistic gratification. The championship? Yeah, it's nice to have a shiny trinket, especially when someone else wants it, but the truth is that it's irrelevant to me. What I want more than anything is Brock's beating heart in my hands, freshly remove from its chest, quite the opposite to Brock's desire of getting the fuck out of the arena as soon as possible because he's got a plane to catch. to be continued? |

Speaking of BS I was visiting family yesterday and for some reason Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was put on the TV. I hadn't seen it in years, nor knew it was still going, but it's hosted by some Regis Philbin clone that's in his 40s. Anyway this dude was on the 3rd or 4th question and it was something like: What wrestling superstar retired in 2017 after a 30 year in ring career. The options were The Beautician, The Florist, The Philanthropist and The Undertaker. So I was thinking that's probably why Taker returned this year in the first place so he could invalidate shit questions like these. And for the record I did speak up and say "he's not retired, he's wrestled 2 matches this year" but nobody cared.

Taker keeps coming back because he probably gets paid like, 100 grand for every appearance at a show, 500 grand for Wrestlemania. I don't care what kind of "legacy" you're trying to leave, if you can make that kind of money for that little amount of work until you're 60, you fucking do it. It's not like non-wrestler Mark Calloway has other options that can make him that kind of money. He's too old looking to be an actor, by all accounts he's a shy person and doesn't like being on camera other than as the Undertaker, I don't know what his hobbies are other than motorcycles and there are plenty enough motorcycle shows on TV. With Stone Cold, he made so much money during his time and continues to make a decent amount of money doing occasional appearances and on his podcast and his reality TV shows, but could he make as much as Undertaker does doing one match a year? Hell yeah, but the thing with Austin is I think he actually wants to keep his legacy intact and have people remember him when he was a wrestler in his 30s and not his 50s. My hope is that after Taker dies he gives Vince permission to use his corpse to work a match with Kota Ibushi that way Taker can truly be the first dead man to ever wrestle a match. |

Chris Jericho was recently interviewed on ''In This Corner Podcast'' discussing his role with the company and what he'd be happy to do in the future. This is what he said: “For me at this point I mean, whether they want me to be part of the Royal Rumble or work against The Undertaker or work against Funaki in a lingerie match, whatever needs to be done I’m happy to do it.”

It's gonna Reign up in dis bitch.

My marvelous entrance theme audaciously booms across the arena. The horrific boos emitting from the crowd seemingly getting muted by the production crew as I graciously step onto the center stage. Furrowing my eyebrows as I glare at the crowd intensely to ensure I appear fearsome to the beholders. Microphone in hand, I gradually raise it my sternum. Anticipating the moment in which my entrance theme comes to an end as I soak in the raucous reaction from the WWE Universe. Darting my gaze upon T-Unit, who is standing in my ring, petrified upon my arrival. Glancing over to the commentary table, witnessing Michael Cole and Byron Saxon praising me as the Modern Messiah. Eventually, I avert my eyes back upon T-Unit. "That's my yard, boy. And you're trepassin'." I exclaim proudly, viciously hurling the microphone onto the stage and swiftly rushing to the ring while my hair elegantly flows due to me unforeseen haste as I embark to the ring. Once I slide into my yard like I slid into Becky Lynch's DMs, I deliver a thunderous Superman Punch directly onto T-Unit's jaw. His body crashing into the mat with a deafening thud. I settle near the turnbuckle, stalking T-Unit as I eagerly await for him to ascend to his feet. I furiously roar while tilting my head back, signifying the precise moment in which I'd cleave T-Unit in two with a brutally destructive spear. My entrance theme resumes, echoing across the arena as peer down upon the motionless frame of T-Unit. Before making my exit, I ominously stare into the camera and vehemently shout "This is my yard. Believe that." Edited by Crusader, May 9 2018, 11:10:15 PM.

Get set to forget all about CM Punk's 434 day title reign, because assuming Lesnar even competes at the MITB ppv (which he probably won't) that would be his 441st day as champion.

Yay, assuming he were holding the same title as Punk, he'd pass Punk's "record" that's not even really a record, despite people treating it as such.

Gotta wonder how soon after he passes 434 days that he loses the title. Seems like Vince wants to drag out Lesnar's run until SummerSlam. Why I have no clue and if come SummerSlam Roman just beats Brock clean after Brock beat him clean and Roman couldn't pin Brock in the cage match... it won't work, it'll make people hate Roman more. It doesn't even make sense in a story. Like, let's compare it to Dragonball. Goku fought Roshi in the martial arts tournament and lost because he wasn't strong enough, but then he got stronger and beat Roshi. What has or will Roman to do get stronger? Is he gonna debut a new move? Is he gonna get an inspirational pep talk from Dwayne or Hogan live on Raw? Is Roman gonna go into the bathroom with a magic "enema" that he shoves in his ass? While it was comical to the IWC and other Smart fans, the promos Reigns was cutting about Lesnar before their Mania match were true, they were in a way getting Roman over, but the issue was everybody loves a bad ass, even a lazy one who doesn't give a shit, more than they love a whiny babyface even if the whiny babyface is right. What hurts the most is that Roman never beats Brock, he can't beat him and Brock always kicks his ass. You can't gain the fans respect when you're constantly put over more popular wrestlers, yet fail to beat the champ and complain. By all accounts Roman should be turned heel, he isn't going to be, and people resent it even more. The 4 year long Roman Reigns experiment is a colossal failure and for the love of God, I'm hoping somebody finally connected with Vince and made him see the light. |
