That's a pretty fast release right after a Bryan fued if the reason is "we got nothing for you." Besides, that excuse has never stopped them before from keeping people around. I think they lost faith in him after he blatantly went into business for himself. |

I saw on my twitter feed a few months ago that he was in for surgery as last year his doctor told him he had 1-2 years to live because of heart failure I believe. Was hoping he would pull through so we could see that HOF speech. While his time in WWE didn't last long, he had such a presence as a wrestler. |

Not me, that bitch sucks. That feud with Alexa last year destroyed her career. All for fucking Alexa Bliss because she's a pretty blond who can talk who WWE can put on posters. Bliss is booked like a modern heel Trish Stratus. She's not the top woman, that's Ronda's spot because Ronda is mainstream, but when you see how favorably she is booked, it's at Stratus levels. And I'm not hating on Trish because she was good, but there were a lot of good women back in the early to mid 00s who were really forgotten about after their first year or two in the company. Notably Gail Kim, Victoria, and Molly Holly to some extent, who was a great worker, but got saddled with ass jokes. The same thing goes on today and my issue with Bayley is that after the Bliss feud, she has gone on to do nothing. We all complain about how Becky Lynch has been flapping around on Smackdown for two years, but at least she's still over and hasn't been buried to death like Bayley has. Bayley is Ziggler. We're sick of seeing her, but occasionally WWE gives her a win to keep her relevant, but we all know that she's bound to go back to Jabroni Boulevard soon. Edited by T-Unit, Jun 24 2018, 09:34:07 PM.

In 2015 WWE released an Owen Hart DVD set that I was pretty hyped for, but before it came out an interview was done with Bret Hart that said Owen's widow, Martha, had handicapped the WWE in terms of what they could use on the DVD. He went on to say the documentary portion of it was "the shits" based on her interference. That killed my interest and I skipped the DVD. Well I found it for cheap so I decided to get it and the documentary wasn't that bad after all. It felt like they used more clips of people talking rather than footage of Owen, but all in all it's just nice to hear people talk about Owen Hart. They speak so highly of him and people like Road Dogg, Mark Henry, Natalya and Tyson Kidd still get emotional when they reflect back on Owen and that really says something about him and who he was. |

It was a shame Owen died and it was headline news when it happened. Owen deserved better than that untimely end and had he lived, I can only imagine how things would have gone in the year 2000, the acquisition of WCW, Ruthless Aggression Era would have gone. Owen would have been a perfect fit for the Ruthless Aggression era, especially on Smackdown. Also, had Owen not died, maybe that would have opened up a Bret Hart return in 2000 when WCW was clearly going downhill and then Bret wouldn't have been hurt by Goldberg and gone on to wrestle at a full capacity for another 10 years. But, I think all things happen for a reason and Owen dying meant that WWE and other promotions weren't going to have their wrestlers doing dangerous stunts for unecessary reasons. I think back to that entrance Shawn Michaels did at Wrestlemania 12 and, yeah, it was fucking awesome, but it's not so necessary when you contemplate Murphy's Law in that situation. |
