Remember the anonymous star from WWE who sent in a letter to f4wonline.com complaining about internet fans? (In regards to what transpired at the Royal Rumble).

Looks like he strikes again...

“Honestly, Punk is being a little bitch. I liked him so much before his run leading to and after that Money in the Bank in Chicago. He’s a guy where you have to be really in his circle for him to I guess open up, which I understand, but being put in a feud with Kane and then with HHH at Mania is not a bad thing. Now I understand he feels this is his last Mania and he wants to main event and really, with the right storyline, that match could main event, but literally after the Tribute to the Troops incident he’s just been difficult. There are so many there that want his spot, that want to say, ‘I need a weekend off to go to UFC.’ I really and fully believe he’s a little jealous of the crowd reactions to Bryan and it’s getting to him—He’s just been such a dick lately. That interview with Ariel, he acted like he was the victim at the Troops taping when Michelle was just joking. Little bitch AJ took it to the wrong level. Do you really think AJ would have a ‘pipe bomb’ interview time or longest Diva champ BS if she wasn’t dating Punk? Punk really doesn’t want to be the face of the company. That’s BS. I hate hearing that shit. He says he does but this isn’t ROH or OVW. He would bitch so much if he had to do Michael & Kelly at 9 a.m., then fly to a different state (for Raw), do a Make-A-Wish at 1 p.m. and then RAW, then do SmackDown, then do something Wednesday to fly home Thursday to be on the road Friday or Saturday. No way he could handle that for four months. He may come back as soon as Monday or he may never come back, but if never comes back he better remember how many fans he’s fucking over right now, the same way he believes the WWE is fucking him over. And I’m not defending Vince or HHH. Especially HHH, because people are seeing that HHH taking over isn’t as cool as they thought it would be. Outlaws, Nash, X-Pac, Flair, HBK, Batista—yeah must be nice to be HHH friends.”

Thoughts?

Oh, and apparently the “Yes!” chant is turning into the latest worldwide meme. WWE is getting on the bandwagon, encouraging groups to post videos of themselves performing the chant.

I still find it hilarious how this chant was completely plagiarised from something made in 1991.

What this "anonymous" WWE star is forgetting is that Punk has been working that type of schedule for almost 8 years. IIRC, Punk didn't take much time off during his early WWE days; it wasn't until the two weeks following MitB and last Summer that I vividly remember him not being around for a lengthy period of time. And I'm not counting the time he was commentating on Raw or Smackdown for a few weeks where he was traveling, but not wrestling. Yeah, Punk was pushed big time from mid 2011-early 2013, but once his title reign ended, he was on a massive losing streak. Punk had arguably the highest quality matches in WWE last year, but he was totally outcast from the Authority angle being thrown into matches with f*cking Rybaxel for months following his classic with Lesnar.

The point I'm making is that Punk hasn't been used to his fullest potential for a long while now. You can't sit there and tell me that had Punk been involved with the Authority angle that it would have been a misapplication of his talent; imo, he was the missing piece to that entire angle late last year. His absence from it, being stuck working with Ryback and Axel, was a huge mistake by WWE and it's resonated for months because there's no deep plots or builds being done now. Look at the build between Cena and Orton leading up to the Rumble, look at the continuing build for Batista-Orton. It's the same fucking thing every week from those two: "I came back to win the Royal Rumble and beat you at Wrestlemania for the WWEWHC." "You're not gonna beat me because I'm the face of the WWE." Every fucking week. It's absolutely disgusting, it's repulsive, it's like there's no effort being done by anybody in management or creative to make the storylines that drive the product compelling.

WWE's polished the turd as much as it could and most of the fanbase was oblivious to the fact that it was just a shiny turd. Now that fans see what WWE's product is made of, WWE's overpolishing it to try to hide the truth of what the product is and the turd is falling apart because of it. Punk left for personal reasons, for not getting the main event spot at Mania with his longtime friend Daniel Bryan, a spot that both those men deserve, and because there's a storm coming in WWE, and Punk jumped ship about a mile off shore because he sees what's coming and because he can afford to leave. Other guys can't or won't and they're stuck on a doomed vessel heading to the bottom of the sea.

I'm really curious as to who this is...

Adding to TruthTellers point (somewhat), I really was disappointed that we didn't have Punk involved with The Authority angle post-SummerSlam. He, along with Bryan, Rhodes Bros. & Big Show vs. The Shield, Randy Orton, and maybe the only time it's permissible, Triple H, would've made for an amazing Survivor Series match. From there, you could split things off and start the build for Wrestlemania. Everything was laid out perfectly for the WWE to really do something worthwhile, but instead, we have guys leaving/talking about leaving the company, outright frustration from both talent AND the fans, and worst of all, a Wrestlemania card that will almost assuredly suck. =/

I agree. The first one sounded like Ambrose, but this sounds like Cena.

I think I've gotten too accustomed to Cena's all-around good guy image to consider he'd send in such a letter, but I could be wrong I suppose.

It's not John Cena (At least I seriously doubt it is). This is the type of comment I could easily see Batista or Randy Orton writing (if you're used to the way they talk during interviews). In fact, Batista has been acting like a spoiled brat ever since his return. The negativity displayed from the locker room since Batista's return has been far worse than the disdain towards The Rock ever was.

Maybe Booker T better have another ''chat'' with the guy. ;)

That one might not even be a wrestler, I think the recent one was just reported as "someone who works for the company". It could be a low-level writer or something.

Remember, Cena got into a shouting match with Vince a year or more back about the product, but he always remains professional. He could legit be ticked with Punk just walking away seeing it as being unprofessional, yet still unhappy with the way the product is turning out. The guy hasn't bashed Bryan at all, and who's dating Bryan's soon to be sister-in-law? Cena. Nobody would bash a close co-worker who's also very likely to be a future brother in law are they?

Why would he or anyone else bring up Bryan when the subject at hand is clearly Punk's departure?

The person who sent that letter in kinda blindsided AJ too though. Don't think Cena would do that.

And by all accounts Cena and Punk got along pretty well iirc

To attempt to destroy Punk as a fan favorite leaving Bryan as the only other guy fans truly love. With Punk out of the picture now, Bryan is the undisputed top face in WWE. Bryan unites all hearts, no matter what age they are. Cena is despised by older fans/the IWC and Punk never really won over the kiddies. Bryan's been blowing the roof off buildings since WM28.

Since when does Cena call people b**ches when he's not on the mic? Maybe if this was Cena during his ''chain gang'' phase, but otherwise I can't see Cena writing that. And like JML said they were usually on good terms with one another.

Pretty sure Cena is actually pretty cool with Punk (And Bryan) backstage. Quite a bit of pictures of them together fucking around and having a good time off camera. I mean, not the best evidence but, still. Just doesn't sound like Cena at all to me.
