WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes apparently suffered some MCL damage, likely as a result of his steel cage moonsault on RAW two weeks ago.

Another WWE Superstar who may have been injured on RAW recently is Ryback. According to one report, Ryback may have hurt his hand in the tag-team match against The Usos this past Monday night.

Also, here's a recent tweet from Goldust.

- ''I repeat... I WILL NOT BE FIGHTING MY BROTHER AT MANIA!!!!!!! Time has passed. Think what u want. Wouldnt get the spotlight it deserves.''

I'm saddened by this news. :(

Oh, and Jericho has been in talks for a return.

Though, I've heard negotiations did not go so swell...

Nobody should be going back to WWE in it's current state. Jericho would be stuck in meaningless feuds jobbing to guys like ADR and Reigns when Jericho should be involved in a US title feud with Dean Ambrose.

Who honestly thinks Goldust vs. Cody deserves a spotlight? Sounds like a pre-show match to me.

I just think the Rhodes feud is going to fall flat, like Jeff-Matt. Rather, they should just keep them together longer, and just have them split later on good terms, like Hart Foundation. Not every team that splits needs to feud.

I think that with Cody's injury and the likelyhood that the Rhodes Bros. match is going to get overshadowed at Mania this year anyway makes me tend to agree. Keep the Rhodes together they both had really good tag matches and I think are better together then separate. Also, once Cody and Goldust do wrestle each other at a ppv, Goldust's career will likely come to an end not soon after they split, if it doesn't happen as a result of a career vs career match anyway.

I think a Rhodes feud would have a much better chance of working than a Hardys feud. Unlike the Hardys, both Rhodes can talk and both have shown the ability to tell a story. Even at their absolute best, neither Hardy was threatening to be confused with Jake the Snake. I think a Hardy feud could have worked in 2003, when Matt was rocking his Mattitude, but outside of that they could never seem to make it work.

However, I don't think the timing is right and certainly isn't something that should be crammed into the WrestleMania build (I would like to say the same for the Shield break up, even though that has much stronger momentum. If it's me, I want to continue with Shield vs Wyatts into Mania). To me, the Rhodes family feud is something that should be built up and told over several months. If played right (which I think would mean Creative has to stay out of it and the Rhodes have to be the driving force), I think the Rhodes family feud can be a lot more Bret-Owen than Matt-Jeff.

However, I think the opportune time for the Rhodes family feud would have been during Cody's Legacy days, or maybe even during his Dashing period. I think the way to have played it would have been to cast Cody as Dusty's golden child and Goldust as the black sheep and face. I think that Goldust, the art student of a jock father, would be easy for the fans to connect to and rally behind, while I believe Dusty and Cody would have made a great father-son heel tandem. To me, that drama seems to write itself. Then, I think it would have been great to come back to that during Cody's "Disfigured" period.

WWE even alluded to some of these kinds of ideas when the Rhodes teamed at Battleground, which really has to be one of the most dramatic tag team matches of this century (not to state that too dramatically or anything)

Telling the story casting Cody as a face and Goldust as a heel (and, perhaps, keeping Dusty on the sidelines) would be more complicated and would be a harder sell, IMO. Cody has not shown me the ability to connect with fans as a face nearly as well as he has a heel (although his time as a face has been limited) and the nostalgia factor with Goldust has been pretty high. There aren't a lot of reasons for me to believe Dustin couldn't get over as a heel if he wanted to, but the opposite seems like the stronger match-up.

Holy shit. Now I can see why JBL would always praise Goldust for how good he looks.

He ate because he was unhappy... and was unhappy because he ate...

It was a vicious cycle...

That happened in TNA, so it doesn't count.
