Angle stayed with TNA for way too long. Should have left 3 to 4 years ago and had a nostalgia run in WWE to wrap things up and retire. |

I don't know the details, but I assume it's because he wanted to leave back in 2006. He obviously could still wrestle up til probably 2012 when the injuries really starting mounting up. The problem with WWE and Angle was that Angle needed painkillers to keep going, which was likely banned in WWE. Angle sounds like he'll be the "American" Bulldog. |

Pretty much... But then Vince changed his mind at the very last second. Then Angle decided he wanted to leave, only for WWE to say they did not want him to go before his contract expired. Which was one of the reasons why a fair amount of frustration/resentment was left between both parties. |
